Anyone else furious with the officials?

If that gets called, then Clemons and Co would have in their minds next Sunday that they have to hold up on Romo....

Hopefully there is a fine this week that accomplishes that even better than a meaningless penalty.

Awful officiating today I haven't seen such garbage since...the KC game

I'm still burning about the late hit on Romo.

I can't understand how the officials can see a holding call in the middle of a scrum....yet miss the blatantly obvious cowardly hit on Romo.

Could Clemons be fined?

:hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

I think it was against KC when Winters turned his head when Romo took a shot to the helmet. He was standing right there.

We deal with this **** almost every game. I can't believe Jerry isn't all over this.

The Eagles, clearly frustrated being dominated so badly, were out to try and hurt some players at the end of the game.

Specifically the blatant shots on Romo.

The officials have always given the Eagles A LOT of leeway with the late hits, the holding, false starts, etc.

Let's just hope the officials don't get a chance to help them out next week.

Hey Theebs or one of the media guys, Do you think you could put together a video of all of the bad/non calls against the cowboys this year. maybe one of the media guys that read this board would do an article on it and bring some attention to it.

I think #50 (Merrywether sp?) might also be expecting something from Fedex next week, he blatantly shoved the official in the back during the first half when the ref got wrapped up in the pile. Clear as day, can't imagine how Troy and Joe Smuck could watch the replay and not mention it.

Stay classy Philthy

I was telling my wife that he should have been ejected. He could clearly see he was lowering the boom on a zebra.

I agree. Aikman and Buck also ignored this.

I didn't think it was incredibly bad. The late hit on Romo clearly should've been called but other than that there was nothing over the top. Yeah the holding on the screen pass maybe shouldn't have been called but he did grab his leg so.... hard to complain. Late hit on Romo=Bull****.. Rest of the game.. not too bad..

Romo hurt himself flopping.

Such as?

One of my best friends is an Eagle fan, even he admitted they got away with alot of stuff today. And he never admits crap.

Really dirty shot that a blind ref should have called. He'll get fined but that doesn't do Romo's back any good. Looks like he'll be OK though, thank God!

Don't care about the call, but I am worried about Tony. Hopefully his back isn't that bad, but he looked pretty compromised on the sidelines and during the subsequent two series.

They'll just spin it saying that he shoved the ref to get him out of harm's way.

Yes and Crayton is getting the brute of it...he took a helmet shot (and horse-collar) and a late hit out of bounds in front of the ref (not too mention last week's helmet shot). What I don't get is this: they don't hesitate to throw the hankies at the first sniff of false start or holding, but when it comes to protecting players, they look the other way.
