Anyone Else Like Malik Davis

None of them are any good for rb2 except pollard. He is a 2. Still need a #1 rb. You will all see by week 4.

I like Malik Davis. I like his running style and he makes yards when it looks like there is nothing there.

I know a lot of people are sky high on Deuce Vaughn, but I wonder how many snaps he can take? And the same goes for Turpin. They are going to try to sneak Davis and Luepke on the practice squad. I will not be surprised if one of both are picked up by other teams. I'd like to see them make a spot for Luepke and not keep 6 safeties as some have suggested they will do.

Turpin needs to show me he can hold on to the ball. Dowdle fumbled in a potential TD also.

Did anyone else like Malik Davis in the small sample size we got to see him the last couple years? I thought he looked good most times when he got the chance. I was looking forward to seeing him more when it was obvious Zeke just wasn't the same. But they seemed to think otherwise. I was really looking forward to seeing him after Pollard went down in the Niners playoff game. Yet again, they thought otherwise. Just thought he'd be in the top 3 RB's, but most here seem to think he's not gong to even make the team this year. Did he look that bad in pre-season? I don't watch until the games count, so never see any pre-season games.

He made some good plays in the preseason but was clearly outplayed by Dowdle and Deuce is more dynamic. Think he ends up on the PS. Didn't really do enough for anyone to claim him IMO.

Yep and I would keep Luepke and only 3 TE's. I don't know why they have not let R Jones go yet unless they really think he has upside over Dowdle and Dowdle and Davis are going to the practice squad when Jones gets back from suspension.

Since Jones is suspended 2 games. I believe they do not have to release him or make a decision until he is eligible to return. That still don’t mean they won’t release him now Or when he returns.

I like Hunter better.
Davis is ok for the PS.,

I like Davis, as he showed much more last PS. But this year, he is 5th on my list. He did ok, I was not impressed.
Dowdle was clearly running better. Deice will be fine with the starters. Leupke looks very good, though against more scrubs than normal for a PS game.

I liked Davis and thought he'd be the #2 at the beginning of camp. Like Grier though Dallas has watched him through two camps and one season. They've had plenty of time to evaluate and if they cut him it's because they've seen enough.

Liked Davis, feel like he didn't do enough this preseason, but many didn't. Don't see how anyone can say Deuce is better at this point, but we like shiny new toys and we will see. I'm pulling for him, only problem is that he won't be able to block for pass protection, which is truly what this team is built on. Cut Davis and he will be picked up by another team.

I liked Davis last season against Green Bay, but that's the only time I ever noticed him.
