Anyone gonna mention the refs

I mean they call that holding in the league. We’ve seen it before.
Not with these optics they don't, and if they do it's because they too assumed something "must" have happened to make a motion happen but didn't actually see it and called it anyway. I have no doubt that happens from time to time because they're human, but they no-called this one correctly though.

did exactly what you said and it was pretty obvious? like i know you have a moral obligation to defend the refs, but ... what?
Same question to you then. You definitively saw the OL display any kind of arm/hand motion that generated a pull on Parsons at any point during that rush? That would definitely make it a hold. But you actually saw the OL pull him?

There haven’t been many after wins. They’ve been started after losses with fans looking for excuses. That’s laughable to think I have a devotion to refs. I’ve been as critical of calls as anyone, but I don’t use them as an excuse for getting our butts whipped. There’s a lot of fans on this board that think the officials and the league are biased against the Cowboys. Some fans think games are fixed. There’s fans that think the Cowboys haven’t won a championship in almost 30 years because the league is against them. Lol This is a strange fan base.
I did not start this thread as an excuse for the loss. If we got the calls or it was called correctly we would have lost this game.

We put up a fight on the first series and we seemed like toast after that. Lmao we put up a fight but they still scored a td. I just noticed the first quarter the officiating was not evenly applied. Not an excuse just an observation.

It was a bad outing for us. We got smoked. Especially our Defense. They allowed at least 5 tds on the first 5 drives of the game.

But they for sure got a jump start from the refs in the 1st quarter. Come on. Did saints dbs even look back for the ball. So many broken plays the defender draped all over our WR and went through them with no flag. Never looking for the ball. We had a break up where our defender got there a tick early and they threw that one with no problem.

Lamb was interfered with in the endzone and then another defender came over and hit him helmet to helmet with no flag. Tolbert had a contested one handed catch where the defender was all over him early and never looked for the ball with no flag.

Then early on Lamb had a flag picked up because the ball was not catchable. Was not catchable because he was not allowed to run his route. Instead they called a ticky tack call on our O-Line.

I am sure some will pick and choose other plays we got away with something but the first quarter was obviously one sided calls.
I quit bringing the obvious infractions and focused calls by the corrupt officials a few years back.
Now it doesn't even bother me to see massive holding that goes uncalled on nearly every play.
Thats on the offensive side and defensive side.

You didn’t start it as an excuse for the loss, but no one started a thread about the officiating last week and it’s not like the officiating was perfect. We usually only see these threads after a loss and a lot fans do use the officiating as an excuse when the Cowboys lose.

I saw a false start on their FB on the first series that would have set up a 3rd and longer.

To try and lay ANY blame on the officials is a joke. When a team crams non-stop FIRST HALF TDs down your throat and made history doing it, it would be better if you just took your medicine and moved on..........................LOL!

No bro. We lost. Badly. We were not prepared to stop it. Our D-Line looked confused. Zimmer looked shocked. Only one that looked good was Aubrey..

We better hope we’re not having to depend on Aubrey all season. Our offense hasn’t looked that sharp and with an up-and-down defense that could lead to big trouble the rest of the season. We’re going to struggle to win 10 games if we don’t figure out why the defense goes so horribly wrong after a solid performance the week prior.

Do you think we just ran into a buzz saw. I never really thought carr was that great. He seemed to have good protection and everytime he dropped back he had time and someone mostly very open. And with them running all over us it piles up quick. They ran the ball and controlled the game. Didn’t seem like we made any second half adjustments.

Either..

1 - saints are going to be a really good team this year.
2 - Our Defense or at least our DTs are really bad.
3 - We had a really bad outing. Maybe full of ourselves after beating up on what was a good defense last year. Just because a team had a good defense the year before don’t mean it carrys over to the next year.

I will admit after last weeks fairly solid performance I was picking the same type of score but the other way around.

I’m finding it hard to blame the refs. But you’re absolutely right about some of the calls or lack thereof.

Bad and/or missed calls by the refs are a part of the game; but in this instance the refs were the least of Dallas’ problems…this was an epic organizational failure maybe even more prolific than the playoff game against the Packers.
While I share your frustration with the refs, the calls in question against CD I thought were good calls.
There you go!!!

I don’t think we just ran into a buzz saw because we saw this last season and in previous seasons. I remember several years ago when Denver came to town and completely destroyed us. I believe they had us down 30-0 at one point with Teddy Bridgewater at QB. They road graded us for over 200 yards. A bad AZ team put a pretty good whipping on his last season and we saw what happened against San Francisco, Buffalo, and Green Bay. The Saints appear to have a real good team but the Cowboys aren’t very good unless they can get a team down. Once we get down by a TD or more and our defense is being manhandled we start to fold. We haven’t seen the last of these butt whippings this season. I wouldn’t be shocked if Carolina gives us a battle and Bryce Young has the kind of game everyone was expecting when he was drafted number one overall. I wasn’t expecting much this season so I’m really not surprised at what happened the first two weeks. However, this Jekyll and Hyde defense we have is very perplexing. One week we look like the 85 Bears and the next week we look like one of the worst defenses in history.

Micah got held on the long bomb it was an easy call and they swallowed their whistles
That and obvious dowdle tackle by facemask, they were early .if those had been called it might be a different game .
( who am I kidding .... LOL , that was a beat down )

If you go back and watch each play frame by frame, you can spot a penalty on almost every dam play.

Unless you want games to be 9 hrs long, you got to let some stuff slide and only call the most egregious fouls.

Yeah. Again. Talking about bad calls, can be, and is in this instance an independent discussion from why we lost. Sometimes it’s one small part of why we lost. Very rarely is it one of the biggest reasons why we lost.

Try to be accepting of having this open dialogue or if you can’t then you’re welcome to not participate in the thread, but please quit with this you’re blaming the refs because we lost. It’s lame and not accurate about most posts about refs.

It’s a separate discussion about one aspect of the game. Don’t get triggered.
