Anyone know why so much indecision at the Star?

I'm to the point of not understanding anything going on anymore

I get they wanted McCarthy back then he left, I get the hiring of Schottenheimer

I dont get why they havent made the hire yet? What are they waiting for?

How did this indecisive? Is Jerry unable to make a decision? Is he too old now? Is there infighting between Jerry and Stephen?

Anyone have any clue as to any of this? Theres no direction. Just a hire a dang HC and start moving in a direction. The more time they waste the harder it is for the next HC
Super bowl Sunday - gotta try to steal headlines.

Typically indecision is due to not knowing what you're doing.

Indecision is not the right word. The question is why can't Booger find someone who will agree to his terms?

perhaps a deal...or agreement is in place and now they are targeting potential staff.
if they are waiting in regards to hc position...then its to interview kingsbury...and anthony lynn.
they've already talked to moore.

Let’s see… Kellen Moore is the OC for the Eagles. He’s a bit busy. But he interviewed. With a guy he worked for - for 8 years. Think the boss might know him?

Or… has his 1 year service to the Eagles simply erased all memory of him with the boss?

Gee - if the Eagles win and Jerry doesn’t make an announcement, gee…. Who could it be?

I hear Kellen and Zeke are good friends. Hum… madness, I tell ya…

Jedi stuff
I heard the interview with Kellen Moore was extremely short.

when the people at the top of a business can’t be held accountable for their actions then you can do whatever

According to news sources, Jerruh and the Arkansas Mafia had zero plan if Magic Mike left. They thought he would give into their “demands” and take whatever **** contract they threw in front of him. Guess who got the last laugh?

Can’t hire KMoore while the Eagles are still playing football.

Jerry only cares about the bottom line. His Cowboys make millions no matter what occurs on the field. So, he's not concerned with filling his team with inept coaching.

Learn it
Love it
Live it

Chuck,

My guy when you realize the most important thing to them is money and not winning it makes perfect sense for what is happening. They don’t like discomfort, and anything to save a buck to fatten the bank accounts. As long as the cash registers keeps on ringing nothing else matters.

I personally think there’s too many opinions and they arent always on the same page.

That’s why the overall strategy seems to be all over the map.

‘You get your way this time, I get my way next time…’ Opposing philosophies don’t align within the bigger picture.

It’s a major disadvantage, but it’s how it is for now since Jerry won’t give up any potential credit and the kid apparently has a very large say. Then McClay chimes in and the HC is maybe sometimes asked what they think.
What a terrible GM if he's being swayed by others. Just make a decision and move on. I thought the GM had final say, outside of the Owner, in which Jerry is both.

Good points here.
It's also possible Jerry is really staying quiet, ruing his Landman TV series cameo and speech a few weeks ago...what irony. He talked about improving his life by integrating his family, Stephen, Jerry Jr, Charlotte, into his businesses, to help him have a happier life.
At the moment, the indecision mess probably just isn't what ol' Jerry had in mind. I could be wrong.
I think he told the truth. Oil gave him the money. The Cowboys are just a fun thing to do with family. They got the winning done early so as long as he can run the team with his family he's happy, winning doesn't matter much.
