T.O.'s salty
classless moron, hope he blows his knee out.

What's funny about Owens is he thinks just because he hasnt broken any rules or laws, it makes it ok.

The same way he took shots at Moss for having a record when trying to deflect his criticism.

I watched the game, reluctantly, because I have T.O. on my fantasy football team. He has definitely gotten old in a hurry, no doubt about that, but there is something else going on. To me, he seems disinterested. I don't see the passion.

Say what you want about Owens, but in Dallas he was doing the little things. We saw him makes tackles on interceptions, sprint down the field to make a block, etc. Here he just seems to be going through the motions.

Yes, the ball was thrown to him 5 times, but Trent Edwards missed him on all 5. Seriously, I'm not being an apologist, that's just the truth.

And here is this fool's problem:

@Power_of_Steel i didn't drop any balls 2day, nt sure wht game u watched. just b/c a ball touches my hands doesn't mean i dropped it!

Fails to recognize his faults!

he might have done a couple of the little things, but he never did the big thing on a consistent basis and thats catch the damn football. dude sucks, time to get over it.

And RW has the idea that when the QB throws the ball it's the reciever's job to catch it...hmmm...what an interesting idea. Great recievers adjust to the ball and go up and catch it. Good/Average ones wait on the ball.

I think with his reality show and stuff his head is on other things as far as his career is concerned. Buffalo is just a place for him to make a check while he explores other endeavors.

To be honest, he didn't drop that ball. He reached out with one hand and tried to coral it but it wasn't a drop.

And that interview was awkward to say the least and the reporters with that kind of pestering were more at fault.

But this whole thread is an anecdote of why I'm glad this guy's gone now. He's polarizing, he's lost a little bit of his skills (and as Stephen said, when he finally loses it, we know it won't be his fault), he creates awkward and unnecessary drama around the team, and as the tweets show, he can't take the high road to save his life.

Maybe not the first couple seasons...but definitely last season.

the first season he gets a pass, after that he blew.

I've seen plenty of one-handed catches, it doesn't matter if the pass was off or it was on owens for not catching it. The fact is he opens his mouth and indirectly throws his teammates under the bus. He should have never done the PC and taken the flak for not doing it. Now the media is reading into what he says and that alone is causing "drama".

look, you can hate the guy, but the dude was productive. last time i checked, it didn't look like anyone on the roster was planning on threatening for double digit td's this year.

anyone can be productive when the ginger has blinders on and calls plays to him nonstop.

He had big games against scrub teams...he got shut down in big games early on and then ESPN started run the stories that T.O. was demanding the ball and the rest is history.

Fact - go look at his stats and see what he did against the better teams from last year.

so now he was productive, but only b/c of the O.C.? he can call plays for me all day long, but it won't put me in the end zone 10 times. get real, bro.
