Are Cowboys are the best team in the NFC East right now?

No. They haven't done anything to prove it. Two straight sub .500 seasons, you cant call them the best of anything until they start winning games

Anyone who believes otherwise is drunk off the typical off season kool-aid by the typical pushers like the BTB homers and the "will do anything for followers " Mosher

Or, we've analyzed the acquisisitions and understand that they were topnotch.

Just calling everything Koolaid because you don't understand things is pretty weak.

You can also analyze the acquisitions and come to the conclusion that you havent seen enough to justify anything. Cowboys fans are more susceptible to buying in blindingly to kool aid pumpers. You can call it weak. Doesnt bother me. Thats what I have seen from this fanbase since the internet connected us all. These hires, signings and picks can all fall flat. Ill wait until they show me they are in the conversation

Sure, if you don't understand what you are seeing.

Don't group fans all in one group so you miss the big pic.

Why are you paying so much attention to the Koolaid pumpers?

I understand things when I start to see evidence. I dont take leaps of faith with this franchise. "This feels different " is somewhere we have all been before.

Its hard not to pay attention to them when they posted here so regularly. I will say this, the feelings up until this offseason have been overwhelmingly negative. I prefer this place positive more than negative. However its gotten to the point where, in my opinion, people are oversold on this team. Hopefully I am wrong, but thats how I see things right now

I would say True.

I think the Eagles offense is going to regress (and it wasn't particularly good last year). Their defense should keep them competitive and they have a pretty easy schedule though.
Their schedule is almost identical to ours

Yes we objectively have the best QB in the division, and our defense is unlikely to be as historically bad as last year.

I feel excited because we are on paper a better team than we were this time last year, and we’re better with younger talent as opposed to older veterans. So I’m just embracing that excitement in the moment right now.

Are we better than everyone else? my opinion is it’s a long season who knows but I like our chances considering with one of the worst defenses in franchise history we beat the Eagles last season once and were one missed dropped ball by Lamb of doing it twice. So I feel we were on the cusp last season with a terrible defense, what’s going to happen with a decent defense?

I’m excited and I’m probably more excited for this season than I have been for a while. This has been a very good offseason. No drama, no contract crap, and all the news and noise coming out of Dallas is young talent we’ve acquired as opposed to pouting veterans and contracts.

I mean when Jerry said he may tint the windows at the stadium you know something positive is happening.

Doesn't mean the content is any good. It’s just mass posting to generate revenue. Might as well be automated
It probably is.

More and more accounts that you see every day are just ai. They have automated tools to scrape popular social media accounts, extract a few data points and then rewrite it to bait engagement.

“sports media content creator” is one of the jobs that is getting eaten up.

It’s one of the reasons that the actual humans who create content, whether it be a social media account, a podcast, or whatever, get more and more over the top.

They’re in an arms race with aggregator and AI accounts where the nukes are manufactured engagement/rage/click bait “opinions”

Watching preseason games,...

That's where ur post should have stopped.

Has anyone in this zaney site ever watched NFL football before? Does anyone ever watch a season, and take what they learned to the next season and into the future, or does everyone in here just completely forget the basic things they learned every single offseason?

LOL. ITS PRESEASON !

Did the Cowboys do that last year?

When they beat them once and should have beaten them twice ?
I heard Eagles fans are saying they beat the Cowboys once last year and should have beaten them twice.

Hmmmmm.

It's almost like each team just wor one game and lost kne game to the other. That can't be right though....that sounds cmlike a crazy way to see things

Currently they are in the conversation.

Both games were very close and could have gone either way.
