Of course . I should believe a player with thuggish behavior because he's a Cowboy.Lol
#winwithout21

Thugish? :laugh::facepalm:

Wow you're lost

So I guess her friends are thugish, and her co-workers, oh and I guess Zeke faked all those text messages and the protective order. But we should trust the NFL that gave 1 game to a serial abuser who the league made special accommodations to at the NFL pro bowl because of the abuse. Yep I'm gonna believe them.

Personal conduct policy is NFL's policy procedures. However, Zeke's case is domestic violence. The NFL isn't equipped to handle domestic violence cases. It should be up to authorities to decide what is domestic violence or not. Authorities didn't even press charges against Zeke. So your saying that the NFL knows more about DV than authorities specializing in cases like this?
No, I'm saying that the PC Policy doesn't require a guilty plea or conviction.

Conduct detrimental to the league doesn't necessarily involve criminal behavior .

And obviously Domestic Violence for violation of the PC Policy doesn't have to be aligned with the criminal charge. If not how could they come to such a conclusion if the case had been dropped?

And why he's better off being wrong initially and being corrected that taking a chance of being wrong trying to do the right thing.
#winwithout21

Like you have any idea what a "thug" is. Explain the Josh Brown 1 game suspension. Yea took a chance and still let it stand. They knew it was wrong, but you simply choose to ignore it, and call someone a "thug" who clearly isn't. lol get outta here with that. You're argument is weak and silly. Your staunch defense of the league is really disturbing considering how wrong they've been on many issues, or how they denied CTE, yet you're blindly willing trust them on this issue? Yea ********.

I'd define his thuggish behavior with his conduct following this incident. There's definitely a pattern of thuggish conduct and my money is this won't be the last time.

I'd define Thuggish as criminal behavior or being around criminal behavior . My argument is as weak as the Commissioners office. We'll see Aug 29th.

That proof is required in a court of law but not to qualify as a violation of the Personal Conduct Policy. Circumstantial evidence is enough.
#winwithout21

I am not talking about what the NFL is saying.

I am talking about YOU. You seem to be claiming he did it. Give me the proof. So before you slander a guy and call him a woman abuser, give me your proof.

A panel of investigators made up of 3 lawyers and one ex player unanimously decided there was enough evidence to violate the NFL Personal Conduct Policy despite the local authorities dropping the case. Without their decision I was leaning the other direction.
#winwithout21

Look up the panel. For example, one of the woman on the panel is a notorious women's right advocate. She probably has some bias. Further, the other woman on the panel was a key figure in the Saints Bountygate scandal. She came under massive criticism for her findings in Bountygate, that eventually got overturned on appeal, largely because they found her interpretation of the evidence to be laughable.

Don't assume that a panel of people handpicked by the NFL doesn't have bias.

However, you still need to take it to court in order to get a guilty or not guilty plea - as what the PC policy states.

Zeke's case never went to court and no charges was filed against him. Thus the PC policy should be be applied in Zeke's case because it never went to court in the first place.

I've never claimed he did it. I'm only supporting Goodells decision at this time and playing Devils Advocate.

Facts are lost on that guy... He'd rather label a young black man a "thug", than believe any of the of evidence that proves Zekes innocents. It's a complete joke.

So just so I understand this.............. you are of the opinion that the NFL should just punish a guy and basically publicly call him a woman beater right from the start and potentially ruin his reputation and then work backwards and if he's innocent, change the ruling?

All over blown, Zeke is just being a kid and that's what all 22 year old men do. A large portion of the rest of our team does the same thing, Zeke is just being targeted by jealous fans and NFL owners, and always has been since college. Apparently he can't even expose a womans breast or text about beating drug tests without being criticized and called a liar. It's pretty sad.

The Cowboys are being targeted by the NFL, more specifically John Mara and Roger Goodell. We've been so successful over the past 20 years that Mara is tired of seeing us win and dominate the NFCE while Goodell hates the fact that we make the NFL the most money of any team because it makes him look bad.

Regardless of what happens, as evidenced by last night, we'll be fine the first 6 games without Zeke. My grandmother could have gained ten yards through the holes that line was creating. Zero panic here (plus I don't think he'll get the full 6 games).

The answer is yes but his actions are just one piece of the puzzle. It's a collective tainted image made up of several pieces. I have old friends who still think the Cowboys image hasn't been restored after the off the field incidents from the 90's team or the way Jerry fired Tom.
