I think this team needs more speed on offense. They have no one to take the top off the defense. KC could not play that defense they played today if Dallas had a guy like Tyreek Hill playing WR. The threat of him running pass the DBs would be too great.

Dallas had opportunities today, 5 times inside the KC 30 yard line, but each time they shot themselves in the foot. Bad play calling, bad passes, no blocking, penalties. It killed them.

Also, the Cowboys have the worst blocking WRs and TEs in the league I think. So why call plays that require them to block? Those plays almost never work for Dallas and lose yards as often as they gain yards. Stick with the vertical passing game. Of course Dak has to be more accurate than he has been.

1st of all Hill is the fastest receiver in football. Nobody has a Hill except KC. We do have a deep threat, Gallop!

Dallas receivers in general block well, especially, Noah Brown.

If Dak would have stuck to the vertical passing game today, he would have been sacked 10-15 times.

lmao, just another game where he took too long because he's a slow reader. when he gets any pressure he goes into panic mode making it tougher on himself. looks like I'm the only one of us who sees the real game. I posted this on multiple threads because people posting Dak has only 2 wins against teams with winning records this year. So does Brady and Stafford.

GB and AZ has 3 wins against teams with winning record. Both Rams and TB has 2 wins against winning teams. It's not like we are way behind as far as that stat is concerned compared to other top NFC teams.

When your receivers are out and the backups are getting swallowed up, the run game is crucial to opening up the receivers and not getting mauled via pass rush in the passing game.

BUT, the Offensive line was pathetic throughout the game. On offense EVERTHING starts and ends with the O line!

This O line gave us almost no chance to win!

It seems to me, since our last Super Bowl the O line( even when they were supposedly the strength of the team) has faltered most often in big games. Romo was always running for his life in our biggest games.

If our O line does not improve greatly, we have no chance vs the good defensive lines in the playoffs( if we make the playoffs).

Not 1 word about our QB responsibility in this one?

True for much of Tony's career, but not in 2014.

2014 the oline was dominant and remained so against GB. Romo's QB rating was 143.6, and that's after being robbed of The UnCatch.

When you read this message board you have to take into account that 75% of the posters on this board have no idea what they're watching during a football game. They will automatically whine about the lowest-hanging fruit (the quarterback) because they are casual football fans who don't understand the intricacies of the game.

Of the remaining 25%, there's a good 15% chunk of people who still hold some unhinged grudge against Dak because they think he "stole" Romo's job and will never get over the asinine idea that they were robbed of Tony's back magically healing and coming back in 2015 to lead the team to a Super Bowl.

That leaves roughly 10% of people (and I'm being generous) who actually have any clue what they're watching/talking about.

I think crowd noise played a huge factor....but I'm convinced Steele isn't a left tackle too...said it before....Martin could have been a better choice.
