News: Are the Cowboys a potential spot for Jeremy Maclin

Maybe a few years ago but not at this moment. You need players like Williams, his blocking doesn't get any credit. Zeke doesn't score on that screen against Pittsburg without Williams.

Dez and Terrence both do some down field blocking...and are aggressive. lol

Also this is another indictment on @xwalker's silly rant against Dez. A team that has super bowl aspirations isn't willing to pay Maclin 70% of what we (a team with super bowl aspirations) is willing to pay Dez.

That should tell you something.

I think maclin is an older version of dez. His best years were when he had a DJax opposite him. He is not overly fast and makes.up for it in route.running. Dez is more athletic and violent but is not a top popping we. Dez would benefit from a real burner opposite him and Ma cl in does not fit that role.

I assume he'll flip it and say that "that just shows how much dumber it is to pay dez that much money, if the chiefs wouldn't pay a 'comparable' player a fraction of it"

I'd be interested if we hadn't signed TW to a team friendly deal. In this offense I think they're basically a push anyway.

So nah.

It is still kind of questionable that getting Williams back on a cheap deal keeps you from addressing a superior player.

And it is pretty much a fact, Maclin is better.

I guess "chemistry" is our deal.

It'd make sense. Continuity for one of the most successful offenses in the league, and continuity for your 2nd year QB.

Good riddance. Didn't need another WR.

No, a log jam of WR's is our deal and not needing to waste cap on a non-essential position when we can (perhaps) be players next offseason for D in FA, Alex.

What is with this board and Maclin/Revis/Kellen
