Maclin has had terrible QBs.

Let's look back at the last time each played all 16 games. It happens that they both last played 16 in 2014.

Yards and receptions were near even. Dez had 2 more yards on 3 more receptions.

Maclin had more TDs while Foles was his QB, but his TDs dropped drastically with Sanchez.

Keep thinking Maclin is better or on the same page as Dez

Dez is only a #1 in talent. He does not do the other things that top WRs do for their teams.

They have to scheme around his limitations.

They could not sign a raw but highly talented WR like Terrelle Pryor because the #2 WR in Dallas has to have #1 WR type scheme knowledge to make up for Dez lack of scheme knowledge and sloppy route running

Are the Cowboys the only team that has to scheme around their players weaknesses? I don't see a lot of jump balls for Julian Edelman for instance. Not that the weaknesses you presented are all that factual. Just old tropes.

Also now the reason the Cowboys haven't signed Dez is because Williams is too valuable to the offense? LOL

I would love to add Maclin. I thought they would upgrade from TWill but he clearly gave them a bargain deal when he resigned.

Dak's game is about finding the right option every time, just think about Dak lining up with Dez and Maclin on the outside and Beasley and Switzer inside, with TWill rotating in all over. Dak will destroy other teams like a surgeon using a scalpel.

Or think about Dez and Maclin in our 2 WR set, Witten and/or Gathers would be open every time.

Excellent observation - however, I think he's going to the Bills. That's what I'm hearing visiting western NY this past week.

It seems unlikely:
He will get a decent offer somewhere. His base with the Chiefs was 9.75M.
He is 29 years old.
The Cowboys already paid TWill enough to say that they expect him to be a starter.

On the flip side, he's probably better than Dez as a #1 WR. They could dump Dez with his 13M base salary and upgrade for cheaper. Maclin has had to play with far inferior QBs.
