Are we as blind and homerish as these Pats fans?

It's natural to want to defend your team, and yes we most definitely have paranoia on this forum of believing there is a giant NFL-wide conspiracy against the Cowboys.

However, I live in Boston, and Pats fans are by far the most elitist, entitled fans I have ever encountered. It boggles m mind how they believe their team can do no wrong and how they will justify their cheating tendencies through and through. There is no voice of reason for them. In their eyes they are the best there was and will ever be and don't care what it takes for their team to get there. It's interesting because I don't get the vibe from Bruins, Celtics or even Red Sox fans.

I do think that if this happened to us, some would be homers about it, but some would also accept the punishment and be disappointed in Romo. There is no lack of criticizing our team or organization on this board when they do something that is perceived wrong or stupid.

Having recently moved to Mass**** land, I can attest to the provincial nature of the fan-base and general population and up here. In terms of insularity of thought, they are probably second only to those in the hills of deep Appalachia. That being said, they are also as fair weather as they come.

I do not know how I would react if the Cowboys were caught cheating not only one but twice. They get to keep the trophies but there will always be an * attached to it. Legacies are ruined. Brady is looking like the chump he is. Bill will always be Bill and Kraft is coming off as Al Davis's long lost twin.

Any fan board is going to have blind loyalists who refuse to see the other side of the story.

Many fans are absolute homers. All of us are at least biased to a degree. I pride myself on being a realist, as my former self was a staunch curmudgeon for many years, and my new self is a huge proponent of what's been going on with the Cowboys since Garrett took over.

Still, I readily admit I see things through the eyes of a Cowboys fan. How can you not?

But northeasterners are the worst. They grow up in this socialistic, I'm-a-victim, overpopulated sardine box, and it just twists their minds into non-thinking oblivion.

After Spygate and Deflate-gate, not to mention the last years plays they ran that have since been outlawed, Patriots fans are kidding themselves. It's a great team and a great organization, but certainly not principled as much as they should be.

This was like corking a bat in baseball.

There is without a doubt, a load of homers on this site. In fact, the reputation on the net is that this is a homer site. Heck, you say one bad thing about anyone Cowboy and people get all tied up in a wad. Some people just dont have the ability to be non biased and think about things in a rational way. They talk themselves into anything and everything.

Like some people thinking that Green was some great pick of ours. It was scrutinized and highly regarded as a head scratcher.

LOL...........you cant be serious. This is EXACTLY what I am talking about with people talking themselves into anything. HARDY WAS CONVICTED BY A COURT OF LAW.................then they appealed. When the appeal came around, he got let off because he paid off the girl to not show up.

Hardy is a women beater, end of story. And his situation is NOT EVEN CLOSE to anything Tom Brady did. To try to lobby otherwise is a total and complete joke.

All that aside, I am happy they signed the guy. Great move.
