Yeah but the dirty little secret is time of possession. Raiders 39 min to Cowboys 26 min. Fornthe defense that's like.pushing a sled for 13 more min. They got worn down.
good point, and rest assured mike and kellen dont know how to game plan so top is in their favor.
All they know is drop back and throw, then do it again and again and again, and mix in a few runs at random times with no strategy involved.
Just run it then go back to pass pass pass pass pass........

Exactly! I don't even know who the offensive line coach is but he needs to be served his walking papers. This offensive line pass blocks on running plays.

I'm ok with him. Like I said. Rodger Staubach or Troy Aikman ain't showing up tomorrow morning to quarterback. I think Dak is the best quarterback we've had since Romo. There is no plan "B". It's like asking if I'm happy with McCarthy? Hell no!!! But where is a plan "B"? No plan "B" no need to discuss it. IMO Dak would be a better quarterback if he had better coaches and coaching. Hand in hand you know. Wonder when Jerry buy companies do he let Garrett, McCarthy and Moore type guys run them. I doubt it or he'd be broke:laugh:We haven't had a real coach in Dallas for decades. And until we get one. Victories will be swallowed by the hand of defeat. And many great players will come and go with wasted careers in Dallas. You fellow Cowboy fans want to win? Start with the Head coach. The body will only go as far as the mind takes it. We're a team body without a mind.

dak has never played on a bad team like carr. oh yeah, he's had one offensive lineman out and the season is over.
So other QBs get excuses when they lose?

But even the Bucs loss this year was 100% on Dak, right?

Carr gets to underperform FOR YEARS AND YEARS and it’s all swept away with 1 excuse. “Better than Dak!!!”

Last year the offense with Dak was 1 -3.

Last year the offense with Dalton was 4-5.

The Cowboys with Andy Dalton had a better winning percentage than then Cowboys with Dak Prescott.

Dak Prescott does not make the guys around him any better. Heck, you had proof of that just this year with Cooper Rush. We can win without Dak on the field, but when Amari Cooper is out we go 0-2.
Add in that Dalton was what largely playing with third string offensive man most of the time?

I agree that Dak is the best QB we have had since Romo. I prefer him over Orton, Cassel and Weedon

How many points did the D give up to a ROOKIE QB? This is why I laugh at post from you, Pappy, Willie Beaman, etc….the thesis of ALL OF Y’ALL’S posts is that Dak alone is why Dallas isn’t succeeding. The D just gave up 36 points to a Raider squad that averaged 14ppg the previous 3 games. But, again, it’s all Dak’s fault.

I certainly can't speak for everyone, but I don't believe this game was all Dak's fault. He could have played better for the first 3 quarters, but the pressure was getting to him. He sucked it up and made plays in the 4th.

He had a chance in OT, I know the field position sucked, but the opportunity is there for him to make a play, and he bounced the ball to the receiver 10-15 yards away. That was bad.

Dak is certainly one of the main reasons we are competitive, but he also has a share of the blame for the team losing.

The offense scored 13 points in the first half. Not great but not awful.

I’m sure the offense not holding the ball and not scoring and the defense being tired, is why the defense allowed 14 points in the first quarter, right? Right?

They scored the same in the 2nd half, not great, and not enough. Pollard had a kick return for a td though.

See, this is an excellent response. Sure, Dak once did NOT have the cleanest of games, but the haters literally act as if those in disagreement with them do nothing but shower praise on Dak, which I really don't see. What most of see is the truth - THE DEFENSE GAVE UP 36 POINTS!!!!!!!!!! But, what I also DO see is a ridiculous amount of hatred toward Dak that is laughable.....especially when folks that actually played the game (Troy, Romo, etc...) give real-time criticism when warranted, yet both call him one of the best QB's in the league right now. So, who's word am I gonna trust? Hmmmm.....

129 ppl blamed dak for giving up 36 points lol. Education is so bad in this country

...an what did Dak do the first 3 quarters to help the defense? The Dak led offense scored 13 points and Dak personally played poorly. Yet the defense is expected to keep going out there time and time again to keep Dallas in the game when the Dak led offense isn't doing crap?

The defense did give up 30 points and over 500 yards to the Raiders......but the Dak led offense was 3-13 on 3rd downs, was killed on TOP by a margin of -13 minutes (Raiders had the ball for 39 minutes of the game!!!!!), had offensive possessions (not counting Pollard kickoff return for TD) in the first 3 quarters which resulted in 5 punts (those series accounted for 19 plays and 46 yards!!!!...that's it!!!!), 2 TD's, and 1 missed FG......so yes, Dak's failures on offense led to the defense being put on the field consistently in the first 3 quarters.

Is Prescott playing by himself?

He didnt turn the ball over and give the raiders offense a short field. Defense played like garbage

Serious question, Bob.

If you replaced the QB on those 18-20 teams with Dak that you're referring to are they really THAT much better? How many of those 18-20 teams have QBs that would look good with all the weapons Dak has had in his career?

Dak has been very fortunate when it comes to the talent around him where a lot of these QBs are ruined by bad situations. So, although you're right, there are probably 18-20 teams looking for a QB, that doesn't mean those 18-20 QBs wouldn't thrive just like Dak if only they had the luxury to start in the same situation with the immense amount of talent Dak has been surrounded with.

also, Dak missed a wide open throw to Gallup the play before the holding play.

Did you happen to notice the "weapons" the two QB's who played in the last Super Bowl were surrounded with?
