So if we aren't good enough for the SB this year, how do we propose to take that extra step.....and that's the reason that we can't ignore Dak's contract (and arrears).

Your time would be better served if you treated like entertainment and not like you know how to manage salaries. And, I couldn't possibly care less about money, makes zero difference. Especially at this point.

It's a team sport where your highest paid player have to play to that CAP hit....and even in cases where they are paid elite money, they have to make up for the loss of talent in other areas. Eg Mahomes - Hill.
My point is you can't have Dak earning elite money (+ Bonus arrears) and then deflect responsibility on the O-line, D-Line, or lack of tools.
The configuration of the extension is going to be an important factor on our ability to produce a winning roster (as well as an independent GM).

We arent going to agree. Daks issue is the same as Romo's.he was the QB of the cowboys during the jones era. Daks pay has produced a winning roster now every year but 1. all 3 since his payday.

Its simply a week to week opinion and assessment of daks performance.

Dak should get another boost in his Ratings after Sunday's game. I fully expect the cowboys to win and Dak to look good. It's a big game but I wish it was against a non-divisional opponent so it could be easier to judge the significance.

Now performances (not necessarily wins) vrs Dolphins /Bills/Lions (with their better defenses), and im all in.

Its a team game. Not just Dak Prescott.

I think our problems up until this year sit more on the coaching side than on the Dak Prescott side.

The team needs to carry Dak too. Even the less talented ones that dont get paid because of Dak's contract. Even then...there are quite a few highly paid players on the team that need to carry Dak too.

Its not that hard of a concept grasp.
