Ironically, that is something some do not comprehend the most.
There are a few who do seem to come here just to stir the pot, but I don't think there are many of them...and there would be fewer of there weren't so many more people willing to feed them.

We arent going to agree. Daks issue is the same as Romo's.he was the QB of the cowboys during the jones era. Daks pay has produced a winning roster now every year but 1. all 3 since his payday.
I hope you don't mind if I interject, but how many times have we read that we don't have the cap money to sign a certain free agent, who would no doubt help put this team over the top?

I'm not saying they shouldn't pay Dak as much as they do, but if they didn't, we might have gotten a few of those free agents that end up playing for our rivals, while we ask how they can afford it.

As long as Dak keeps playing like he is now, I wouldn't be justified in holding him solely responsible for this team's wins nor losses. That's simply the reality of the situation. Pro football is and always has been a team game. Each player is only responsible for his role and nothing more. We all have our good and bad days -- Dak is no different. I'm just happy to see this team being as successful as they are.

And when Jerry has had the money ( and he has ) how often have you seen him bargain store shop

Jerry don’t bargain store shop because of the cap he does it because that’s his way of doing business

Draft well full in with average players

Dak is a top 10 QB and has been for a few years now. Ill debate where he belongs in the top 10, but I will not debate if he is a top 10 QB, There are 3 reasons people will say he is not a top 10 QB.

1. They hate the Cowboys and/or Dak for what ever reason. Doesnt matter the reason, their narrative wont change.

2. They are trolls. I dont mess with trolls.

3. The most common one, they're dip%#@ts. LIke trolls, I dont mess with dip%#@ts.

Its a team game. Not just Dak Prescott.

I think our problems up until this year sit more on the coaching side than on the Dak Prescott side.

The team needs to carry Dak too. Even the less talented ones that dont get paid because of Dak's contract. Even then...there are quite a few highly paid players on the team that need to carry Dak too.

Its not that hard of a concept grasp.
Its a team game where the QB is the only player (ok Center) that influences every offensive play. Because of this there are instances where he needs to carry the team (regardless of what's happening around him).

There's still this factor that he (we) bully lesser teams/defenses but fall short, time after time against play-off teams. It comes down to WIN or BLAME, and whilst everyone should take some responsibility, at the end of the day, Dak has more influence (and money) than anyone else.

My point on the QB is that IF we cant go deep into the play-offs (or Dak can play to the highest level in these games) the alternative may be to introduce a lesser QB and play him behind a decent O-Line and Receiver Corp. Rookie QB's tend to fail when placed in poor sides (eg Dak - 2016).

Or a 4th, which says ranking a QB means nothing. The ability to win is what matters. If there's something in their game that makes him outstanding in-season, but comes up short in play-offs. Dak is a top 10 QB but his apparent failure when pressures on means we won't win......if that's the case then giving him more CAP% doesnt fix the problem.
