You need a "Don't Care" option in this poll. I am neither happy or unhappy. It makes no difference to me. What matters is what Jerry does once the team building process begins. If he let's all the free agents walk again, while waiting to pick up the scraps in June, what does it matter who is coaching? To me, the reason for hope or despair still rests with Jerry.

There will be more valuable players than Jeanty available and the RB class is phenomenal.

The tight end from Penn State to me would be a heck of a piece to add to this team.

Don't think it was the right choice but as we all know it's Jerry's world. We can only hope for the best. I'm tired of being average and 1 and done in the playoffs. Only time will tell.

This is not typical Diehard, Jerry at least has tried with HC hires to pretend he was trying to win.

Parcells a legendary coach, Wade one of the best DCs of all time, even Garrett was seen as a top OC kinda like Ben Johnson now, McCarthy with a SB ring, ect.....

But Schotty? There is nothing about him that makes him qualified to be a HC, even Jerry called him a "career assistant".............this is not the same as the coaches I just listed, its different.

That is why you are seeing an almost universal condemnation of this hire by the fan base and even the media.............this was not the case with previous HC hires.

I was thinking more of the tradition we didn’t really pursue any of the up and coming candidates out there. We interviewed the minimum requirements by NFL. And then basically hired someone no one else was pursuing or interviewed .
