Are you really supporting Romo?

There were a few posters that were saying that Bledsoe gave the Cowboys a better chance to win. Many stated that the Cowboys would be playing for next year if Romo took over. None of this even matters. Those same people are estatic that Romo had a good game, and they will be even happier if Romo can lead the boys to a superbowl. That is a mark of a true fan. It is okay to be pessimistic as long as your are thrilled when proven wrong. I am still pessimistic about Adams and Rivera, but I would be the first one to be happy if they could prove my fears false and play solidly.

Face it my fellow fans the only thing that will quiet the doubters is for Tony to string a few games together as good or better than the Carolina game.

Every coordinator is going to throw everything but the commode at him.

Disguised coverages

Blitzes

Moving D players around.

He's going to see it all and then some in the weeks to come.....Let's see how he handles it.

From what I saw Sunday night I believe he'll do just fine. Tony's debut was one of, if not the best, I have ever seen and believe me when I say "I have seen a few".

As for me, I'm not going to worry about it as I will be setting back w/my DrPepper and watching history unfold in front of my eyes. ;)

I've been on the Romo bandwagon really since training camp and i said many times during and after the Giants game that if whether he struggled or not i would stick with him and i believed eventually he would become a real good player. I know its early but im happy to say i was among the first fans on the Romo bandwagon before he showed what he was capable of last sunday

Well, I just read it now in a whole new thread "patting myself on the back"..so that's two headaches in the same day.

Sonny, you're a johnny-come-lately. Two weeks ago most everybody not fatally mesmerized by Bledsoe's strong arm or smitten by him back in 1996 was calling for Romo.

Go look up that article where Parcells tells new coach Charlie Weis "you've only been a coach for five minutes, so just sit down and shut the F up". :)

Tough guy tells me to sit down and shut up over the internet. Most impressive! Never said I was the first or one of the first on Romo. I jumped on after his first preseason start. Was not sure we should switch til after the Eagles game.

Call it a hunch....but I suspect that the legions of newly found 'Romoholics' used to masquerade as 'Hensonites' before he was sent packing by Parcells.....

That's me. Was definetly a Hensonite. I was wrong. He can't play. And I never really saw any signs he could. Just hoping based on his background that he would come around. However, I trusted Parcells to start him when he was ready. When he was the best option. I came into this preseason with the thought that Bledsoe would start all season and I was happy with that.
Romo's first preseason start changed everything for me.

Good post... I find it funny that there are these types of posts about Romo/Bledsoe, and not Watkins/Davis/Coleman, and there probably wouldn't be these types of post (at least in these numbers) if Carpenter started playing. Most fans here want the players on the field who give us the best chance to win... WHOEVER that is.

For some reason when it comes to the QB position, it's either you're with me or you're against me. There's not a spot for a "Cowboys Fan" in these guys minds when it comes to QB. You're either a Romosexual or Bledsoe supporter. I don't get it.

Ahhh, gotcha....

I actually thought he was attacking me... and 90% of the people on the board who aren't quite ready to put Romo in the HOF yet. That's just the impression I got.

Or are you just jumping on the bandwagon because he had one good game...

If I recall correctly alot of people were throwing him under the bus when he played against the Giants. Me and others were Bashed because we seen his potential. But now all of a sudden everyone is on board.

Funny how things work.

For those that believed since day one know that this might not go as planned..He will have his ups and downs and we have to udnerstand that. The people that believed in him will know this...The badnwagoners and fairweather fans will jump ship the moment he has a bad game.

If there is one thing that pisses me off, It's Fans that jump on the wagon one day and jump off the next...

YOu know who you are!...Losers!:bang2:

"i liked Romo before you liked Romo..."

this is like something my 8 year-old would post. 'cept your spelling isn't as good.

is that you Landon? get your little butt to bed... it's a school nite.
