If your at say 75 players, over the limit, and say cut down is at 75, then yes, you cant sign a player till you cut one player, then, you have to wait 24 hours best i remember, till you can sign a player, the teams that have already cut their players down, have the first call at that player, now the one that cut their player down at the last minute.

The waiver period is 24 hours meaning the player who is cut can not be signed by any team for 24 hours.

If we wanted a player and we were at 75 we could cut one and sign a new player minutes apart without any wait

And it's not like we can't be on the phone with the agent the moment a player is cut and have an agreement before signing him.

I remember that when I lived in Southern Calif., I would make a 55-mile drive to the Sonic in Oceanside, Calif., just to sample their double-meat jalapeno burger.
In those days they made the burger really juicy, so juicy in fact that the burger paper packaging would catch the juice at the bottom.
Those days are over, though.
But Sonic keeps me contented with its 1,000-calorie Route 44 Lemon-Berry Slush.
Man! After a day of mowing or siphoning gasoline, that really hits the spot!

actually the town is small pop 3500 but they just built one 6 months ago they may close the old one in the future

No, you can sign the player and then you cut someone else.

The Cowboys are in no way, shape or form handicapping themselves by not releasing players right now. I can't even begin to understand the stomach acid over nothing.

Why, oh why do we wait and wait to get the players each year, while other teams grab them ahead of us.

The two chains I most want to try out are Sonic, and Checkers... there doesn't seem to be any of them in my neck of the woods...

No joke. I've been waiting for one to pop up in H-burg for the last eight years. The closest Checkers is in Fredericksburg...couldn't even tell you about Sonic.

There is a Quarles nearby that makes a burger remarkably similar...but not quite the same.
