Pitching dominates this year. The last several years, actually. Leading the team with 30+ HRs isn't bad.

Ryan Howard won't hit 40 this year.

Sad news. During tonight's game that saw Bobby Cox's number retired before a sellout crowd and Dan Uggla extend his hitting streak to a franchise-record 32 games, Ernie Johnson Sr. passed away.

So uh... Carlos Zambrano gives up 5 HRs, a career high, attempts (and fails) to plunk Chipper Jones, and apparently has now cleaned out his locker and retired.

Upset? It's hard to be upset when your team is 20+ games over .500 and still can't close the gap on the 1st place team. It's not like there's much more you can do.

However, as much of this thread as you've spent telling us how terrible Dan Uggla is and how well Raul Ibanez was hitting lately, it's pretty funny. Of course you'll just act like a juvenile like you've done this whole thread.

There's no way he's going to win the Cy, but Kimbrel has not been scored upon in over TWO MONTHS.

Ibanez was hitting very well for a good while there, and i've never said Uggla was terrible. That's such a lame attempt to try and exaggerate what i said to try and make yourself look better. I see it all the time from people who are simply wrong and have no better recourse. Show me one post where i've said Uggla is a terrible player.. you can't.
