*** SPOILERS *** Avengers Endgame Discussions

I think when he went to the other planet that he "retired" on, he winced or something?
I can't find any footage online, but I did find something that says Thanos and the Gauntlet suffered permanent damage, but I also saw that the Russo brothers named Thanos snap "The Decimation". While decimation can mean a destruction of a great deal of people in general, it's usually thought of as a tenth (hence the prefix 'deci') so I don't know why they chose that as the name. That's only a fifth of the people who actually died. (assuming the "half" includes the people who were killed because of crashes, etc., and not only those dusted in the snap)

I think because the word's meaning has changed over time and usage.

I think that he was injured after the snap as well. I'm sure the Gauntlet was damaged.
In your opinion (and I haven't read this thread, but I trust you, for some strange reason...) go to the theater, or watch in the comfort of my home?

@stasheroo, @DeathMonkey and @LittleBoyBlue are all correct. The snap damage is clearly visible in the Avengers: Infinite War scene, where Thor is yelling at Thanos 'WHAT DID YOU DO? WHAT DID YOU DO?', very moments before he transports himself to The Garden. The Gauntlet suffered about 65% damage. Burns travel along Thanos' left arm to the base of his neck. I totally forgot that scene.

Funny. The stones healed the Stormbreaker's gaping chest wound but DID NOT heal injuries they inflicted on its user.

I also learned Netflix does not allow iPad users to screenshot its content. I froze the frame and snapped (pun intended) it for posting it here but the saved image was completely black. Thanks Netflix.
