With Avengers End Game:
As much hype and hooplah given to End Game Avengers by critics and general audiences, i was actually disappointed with it.
though considering the astounding record breaking box office numbers, i thought it was a ripoff from the astounding set up and build up that Infinity War brought in for it.
- Infinite war left me on such a high and anticipating the End game , while end game actually totally deflated that build up, it was totally day and night difference between the two movies.
- It kinda reminded me of Kill Bill volumes, as first version just wowed me out of my seat,..and totally deflated and disappoint with the 2nd version with way too long dialogue spots, meaningless scenes and characters and ridiculously disappointing ending.
the big difference is i really.enjoyed the finale battles and send off with End game vs the likes of Kill Bill Vol 2 with the ridiculous 2 second fight vs Bill
- but oh how i hated the first half of the End game film !!
For much of the first half of the film it was.just too slow paced and boring, .and it was all kinds of holes and confusion in the plot with this time line, travel back to time, meeting your double, trying to pack some comedy and humor into it via a fat retired Thor, an intellect glass nerd Hulk, etc that i was losing interest and adrenaline fast trying to view it.
i actual had to fight sleep and snoring off on it just to keep interest, but the last 30 minutes was very appealing, though i didn't understand how everyone was brought back to life that died in Infinity War ,.. except the Vision.
- And to make matters worst - they decided to make Hawkeye a big character in this movie but he has ALWAYS been just too boring and non-appealing (ditto with Capt. Marvel Brie Lauson !) .... Jeremy Remmers' Hawkeye simply brought absolutely nothing of splash to this film. i thought hawkeye should be the one that should have been died off instead of Black widow
- Not only was the end easily the best part because of it's explosive action sequences and CGI special effects with the battle vs Thanos who has become one of the all time villains in any movie, imo. but something tragically happens that totally changes the future outcome of any and all connections with Avengers related movie or character. So the rumors were true for some Avengers characters unfortunately.
- Marvel studio is trying to build up this Captain Marvel but even in this End Game film, she is utterly boring and non- appealing. Brie Lauson is a bad actress to me., .or is she is just totally miscast for this character.
i really believe the success of Capt Marvel box office smash success clearly was so connected to End game - if you separate the two, we'd hear bust bomb reviews from critics and it would have come to an end at just the solo movie alone. But such is the phenomenal attention, attraction and success of the Avengers series - especially when clued into Infinity War ..and End Game.
it's a phenom we probably won't ever see in our era again ....
On a scale of 1 to 10, .i gave End Game 7.0
While I I agree with a lot of what you said. There was some real genius in this movie.
Oh, and a 7 is fair.
1. Cap being chosen by Erskine in CATFA then wielding Mjolnir. Perfect from movie 1 to movie #22 finale.
2. Tony knowing something is gonna get us. Then he saves all.
3. Cap hail hydra elevator scene,
4. Cap “I know I know...”
5. Cap Bucky is alive.
6. Strange had me believing he saved Tony on IW because he would die saving all in EG.
7. Killing Thanos in beginning of film was genius.
8. Natasha sacrificing to save all.
9. Cap vs Thanos.
10. Captain Marvel stopping 2nd Thanos snap. Tony preventing 3rd Thanks snap.
I could go on...
Ok potential ramifications of ALL LIFE being snapped people back ... 5 years later.
1. T’Challa. Who took over while he was gone? How does he get throne back? Prob in black panther 2.
2. Clint is 5 years older than Laura and kids, Antman older than Wasp.
3. Bucky and Sam are loners So age won’t matter for them.
4. Dr. strange is ... well... strange lol
5. General lives. People not snapped in many cases “moved on”
6. Things “defaulted” for lack of a better word.
7. Planes, care, etc that crashed because pilot/driver dusted. Those people died. The ones that snapped back appeared where?
Tidbits.
Danvers was away when snap happened. She didn’t see anything? Anyone vanish?
Someone said Tony had to snap Thanos and crew back to their timeline without memory of what they tried to do. Why?
I find it hilarious and genius that we got the ruthless, tyrant Thanos(from past) in EG. BRILLIANT!
As opposed to a Thanos from IW that just wanted to do the job.
Michelle Pfeiffer aged while she was there.Ant-man is not older, he was in the Quantum Realm.
Michelle Pfeiffer aged while she was there.
But time is weird there. Ant-man even mentioned that only like 5-6 hours or so had passed for him.
He definitely mentioned it, but it clearly contradicted what happened to the previous character stuck in the quantum realm. The movie makers hoped people didn't notice or didn't care.
Did they say that, or are you just assuming? She was deep in the quantum real. Time works differently depending where you are (the the realm).

Cap with the hammer was also my favoriteIt was epically done.
But it is not without faults.
It is not above criticism.
8.75 of 10
Had a chance at 10 of 10.
It’s odd though. You could have told the story they told in standard 120 movie and yet there was prob much more movie left in editing room floor.
Best scene: Cap with the Hammer.
Worst scenes: All Thor scenes.
She was ate and pooped while she was down there. That's why she looked like that. Digestive tracks will do that to you.Michelle Pfeiffer aged while she was there.

To the best of my knowledge, string theory only allows for one other possible time dimension, which I assume is the reverse one Stark found in his search, and the one they used to go back to the past...but @YosemiteSam would be better able to answer that.
