B/R: Nick Foles Won't Be Franchise-Tagged by Eagles; Will Enter Free Agency

Ummm. Dak has some of the best 4th quarter PASSING stats out of every QB in the league over the last 4 years. Including Tom Brady. You definitely are sounding more and more homer as this continues. And yes Dak has Zeke correct. Your superbowl run 2 years ago I can argue without your defense giving Wentz the ball repeatedly his stats would have been different. Football is a team sport. I am simply saying. I take Dak in the 4th over Wentz. Thats it.

Yes, when you’re up 24-13 and Zeke is barreling over 8 men in the box who have to stop the run to save their game, I’m sure Dak’s stats look quite nice.

Dak has 2 seasons of 16 games with Zeke and 1 season with noticeably inferior stats. That’s not arguable either.

So then explain Dak's stats in 4th quarter comebacks, which by the way he is also tops in over the least 3 seasons.

Team sport, got it.

Whats Dak's record against Wentz?

Wins imply individual achievement, got it.

I don't know if I agree with this. When and if he loses mobility, he is going to become a target. If that happens, he can either become Tom Brady or he can become Drew Bledsoe. I honestly don't know which way that might go, if his mobility is hampered.

He was coming off an ACL tear this year and threw the ball fine. I don’t think this is an RGIII scenario where once you contain him his passing attack diminishes.

Somehow, Foles went 4-1 with the same team that Wentz had sitting at 5-6?

In 11 games, Ertz was targeted by Wentz on 26.4% of pass plays, compared to 24.4% by Foles. Wentz went Jeffrey’s way 20.3% of the time, compared to 19.0% for Foles, and Wentz targeted Nelson Agholor 15.0% of the time, while Foles was a bit higher, at 17.3%.

Foles averaged 22.1 points per game in five regular season starts and two playoff starts, while Wentz averaged 22.0 in his 11 starts

Wentz averaged nearly 15 passing first downs per game during his time as starter, Foles averaged just shy of 13. Carson Wentz had seven performances with a passer rating over 100, while Foles had two.

Wentz had a 4th-quarter passer rating of 102.4, while Foles’ was 67.5.

That doesn’t fit his narrative, stop it.

Even more baffling that Foles went 4-1 while Wentz went 5-6?

Over the last 3 years I think hes second or 3rd.

Well, to be fair Carson had huge leads he’d built by the 4th quarter in 2017 while running for NFL MVP, so total comebacks even attempted may not be a stat in his wheelhouse.

That's bad.

Any stat taken out of context can be bad. Did you know Peyton Manning three more INTs in his 49 TD year than he did the year prior? What a terrible year!

Carson was throwing more, and his interception % was relatively equal to his MVP third place finish in 2017.

Did you know that is the opposite of my argument? Did you know only an idiot wouldn't get that? Did you know that throwing 12 less TDs and the same number of picks is piss poor progression?
