Yes its true we have found a new QB talent it appears.
Three more pre-season games will show what the coaching staff is willing to consider.
My guess is they'll go with experience.

So Moore's 3 games of NFL experience over Rush's zero games. Otay.

I'd like to see some extended tape of Rush at least vrs. our starting back 7.........let alone another teams starting back 7. Can see the potential, but dont know the kid, have to keep him in position to build confidence, dont want to "nick foles" him---blow smoke up his ar$e only to get him gun shy long term.

Dallas coaching couldnt beleive their eyes last year with Dak.....appears they still dont want to but in this case can play it safe and develop him slower. Dak they had no choice but to throw him into the Lions den and learn on the go.

Never know as season progress, and Rush develops---A roster spot is needed, Moore by mid-season could become a roster casualty as they churn, or cover a position hit hard by injuries. for now--best let the kid come along slower.

Fun fact: I didn't even watch the 2nd half of the HOF game last week. After watching what Cooper Rush did tonight, I d/l a copy of the entire HOF game and watched the 2nd half.

You can tell if a guy can play in this league or not pretty quickly. An UDRFA QB with talent *should* be able to move the ball on 2nd and 3rd stringers. And this kid's done it for 2 games now.

I haven't been this excited about a UDRFA since the guy in my avi showed up in 2003.

Kellen Moore will likely get the nod, but if Rush continues to play well, we would be idiots not to keep him on the roster.

I like the idea of having the guy for trade bait at least.

Garrett and Linehan have a love affair with Moore. He's going to be the #2 regardless of the preseason IMO.

It's one of this staff's flaws. They latch onto hardworking, untalented, flaw players for too long.
And they draft and trade for players that are likely to be suspended for drug use, violence against women, alcoholism, theft and who knows what else. This organization is flawed just like their No. 2 QB and yet people keep buying into Jerry World and keep making him richer. I have been a life long Cowboys fan and will root for them, but I ain't giving Jerry one cent more.

Not true. Blaine Gabbert is second in the league and has played the same number of games.

Moore wins again.

No matter how the haters try to keep him down, he just keeps on winning.

lol. Yup Moore keeps winning with his amazing 58.7 completion % and awesome qbr of 71.0 in total NFL game experience.

He's not. He's in a booth.
The only way Romo comes back is if Dak goes down with a season injury AND we are in position to make drive at the super bowl -- and this is probably true only this year. Next year Romo probably wouldn't come back under any circumstance. So we need to be thinking about who our #2 QB is going to be and not count on Romo.

Moore will end up being the QB coach here after Wade Wilson gets canned. BTW, saying he has a noodle arm is dis-respectable to spaghetti noodles everywhere.

Careful .........sure Moore was off last night but one thing for sure, he knows this offense and coverages like the back of his hand. Rush, on the other hand, is raw and inexperienced. To me, last night change nothing about my opinion of Moore. He's a solid back-up for our teams for a couple games......

It doesn't do much good how well he "knows" the system if there is no talent behind that. Dallas needs to stop wasting their time with him.

I do agree that he will be the back-up but I don't agree with that decision.
