Bandwagon fan is someone who leaves a team for one that is winning and that certainly doesn’t apply to Cowboy fans or they would’ve converted to Patriot or Chiefs fans years ago.

I was wrong all this time. I thought bandwagon fans change teams like the rest of us change clothes.

In other words a fan that rooted for the Texans after they blew out the Browns last week and now switching to the Ravens. This is an extreme example but it's basically what I think of when I hear "bandwagon".

I'd say the bandwagon fans left in the late 90s when the triplets magic started to dissolve. Jumped around to the Broncos, Patriots, Chiefs, Seahawks, Eagles over the last 25-30 years.

I don’t think those are bandwagon fans at all. At this point nearly 30 years since a championship game and multiple disappointments I think that’s a pretty rational point of view. Doesn’t mean they can’t win it all or that it’s not possible, it’s just saying I’m guarding my expectations until I see it with my own eyes.

Bandwagon fans are fans who only show up for the good times, they flex and post when we are winning during the regular season and disappear when it’s the low times like the campo years.
