I think it was said in the Battlelog forums the cheaters were out in numbers. I know it really pisses me off too.

I really liked the game though. Caspian Boarder was the hook for me, if I had to play one more round of Metro, I was gonna puke.

So add me to your friends list if you would like 'NfBMybad1' or in BC2 'mybad1'

I have played BF2 and all the expansions, 2142 + expansions BC2. Each game had their share of issues right out of the box, I would suspect this one will as well. But I am in and can't wait.

I didn't get to play Caspian Boarder. The few times that I saw it as an option, I couldn't ever connect to it. I got so sick of Metro that I started playing BFBC2 instead of the beta.

btw, which platform do you play on? I play on the PC, but I heard a rumor that the PC and PS3 versions will play on the same servers. Anyone else hear this?

I only have a 360 and I'm going tomorrow to cancel this pre-order.

I don't blame you. I would cancel any order for a FPS on a console. They suck! :)

Agreed. Last FPS I liked on a console was Goldeneye 007 and that was primarily because I wasn't heavily involved with PC's at the time.

As I stated a on the last page, I think, it's just due to not wanting to deal with the personal frustration of people being able to kill you in 2-3 shots, from so far across the map that you can be looking in their direction and you can't see them.

Now it's one thing if they do that with a sniper rifle and high powered scope, and I'd not say a word about it (much like with Bad Company 2 that never bugged me cause it was just part of it) but I'm talking about assualt rifles and such with no scopes at all and doing it.

I got killed by M16's and PP2000 from so far across the map that on my screen you didn't see anything that even remotely looked like a person out there (and I'm talking about people shooting you while they're standing right out in the open, not hiding in bushes or something which is yet another thing I'd let go).

With the level of frustration that already comes from BF games (snipers picking you off all the time and then the vehicles killing you a ton (something that cant even be factored in from the beta cause you didn't get to use any) ) I just can't see myself having nearly as much fun and instead I'll spend all my time very frustrated. I'd prefer to just play something else with those facts in mind.

Ive never played any FPS on the PC. I've only had my 360 since a year ago May so Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was my first real FPS experience.

Since then I've bought, and play on a regular basis, Modern Warfare, Black Ops, Bad Company 2, and Homefront (thought Homefront I wasn't particularly thrilled with).

I play the Modern Warfares, Black Ops, and Bad Company the most of anything I have owned. I enjoy them all for differing reasons which is why I was looking forward to the BF3 game until I played the Beta.

Now I know that betas have issues but I didn't have any issues with the stuff like people knifing you through bullets, or falling under the map, or any of that stuff. My biggest, and only real issue, is what I described above and I believe that is simply a game issue, itself, that is not likely to be fixed.

I can't speak for the bad company games. Didn't like them so I didn't play them long.

But this just really isn't the case for the PC Battlefield games.

Snipers are sort of underpowered on BF2 unless you are just a ridiculously good marksman. I was always a little upset when too many people on my team were playing snipers. Aside from their claymores, they suck.

From the videos I've seen. Sniping seems much easier/viable in BF3, which I think is a good thing.

And vehicles? I never felt like there weren't numerous ways to deal with vehicles. NEver had a problem dying "A ton" to vehicles or snipers to be sure.

The problems I always had, particularly with Battlefield2, is chain grenade spam. most kits have 4 Grenades, and Supports with their ammo bags have infinite grenades for themselves, and those around them. When you are on a 64 play map, and you just have 20+ people chucking infinite grenades at a base, you sometimes get stuck in a loop of chain dying to explosions every single time you spawn. It can certainly be frustrating.

Yeah as I said I've never played on PC and I never played Battlefield 2. I've only played the Bad Company 2 game which I actually loved despite the vehicle stuff and snipers. It wasn't terrible, don't get me wrong, once you learn the maps and stuff a bit to know where to avoid sniper fire and if you're playing with a decent team the vehicles aren't so bad (the helicopters and such) cause you'll have someone taking them down.

I'll admit I never could get down how to take the air vehichles down in Bad Company 2 cause there is no lock on but I LOVED using my C4, as either a sniper or assualt class, to run up behind tanks and take them out getting 1-3 kills along with the destruction of the tank. Loved that.

As for claymores...that must be a Battlefield 2 thing because you didn't get C4, at least not through the first 12 or 14 levels (thats what level I am at) on Bad Company 2 so I can't speak on them.

Sure you do. Play as a sniper. :)

Sniping was far too easy in BC2. I played recon nearly 100% of the time, but hardly ever sniped. I would take my assault recon, run with my squad to objectives, and spam motion sensors.

I don't play consistently enough to join a clan. Trying to play in squads sometimes works, sometimes....not so much. Some people try to work together, others just don't.

I mostly play assault. I usually get at least two resupply ammo pins per round. I'm lucky of I ever get health from a medic squad member.

I also love it when someone spawn on you then just runs off guns a blazing in no particular direction rather than working together to route another group.

I meant claymores. C4 you get as a sniper or assualt class if you're running a shotgun. Thats how I'd take down tanks. :)

Yeah I have a group of dads that I met from a website that I play Bad Company 2 with who all play as a team when we play together. It's really the only good way to play that game. I don't play it at all, really, if I'm going to be playing with randoms.
