I meant claymores. C4 you get as a sniper or assualt class if you're running a shotgun. Thats how I'd take down tanks.

I don't recall claymores, though I know you can get mines. (CoD4 had claymores) I usually drop them right in front of an unmanned tank. (or sticky C4 on the rear door)

I don't play consistently enough to join a clan. Trying to play in squads sometimes works, sometimes....not so much. Some people try to work together, others just don't.

I mostly play assault. I usually get at least two resupply ammo pins per round. I'm lucky of I ever get health from a medic squad member.

I also love it when someone spawn on you then just runs off guns a blazing in no particular direction rather than working together to route another group.

I don't play in a clan either. I have a few people that I regularly squad up with, and we usually play in games with guys from neoGAF (big gaming forum). If you stick with people you know, multiplayer bc2 is a blast. Playing with randoms, however, sucks.

I logged into Battlefield 3's BattleLog and it had my name as something other than what I thought. I just changed it to SlaughterMachine. Anyone who plays for the PC here, look for me so I can slaughter you guys like pigs.

Got it preordered but the game still won't install via origins.

Just says "ready to install"

I click that it goes to "installing"

Then after about 30 seconds it goes back to "Ready to Install.

I'm having trouble seeing once I start firing, (smoke) though the other guys don't seem to have that issue. I get my *** kicked a lot.

Another thing to note. Sometimes I hear firing and die before someone comes around a wall. I think this might be an issue with their predictive logic. Faster PCs might have a HUGE advantage.

I have an Intel E6600. (Core2 Duo at 2.4Ghz, probably bottom line for gaming PCs) I'm guessing slower CPU guys are at a heavy disadvantage. While hack/bots are possible even 24 hours into it's release. (there are guys that are 24-4 kill/death ratio ie, bot like) I think CPU strength + awesome player is probably more likely.

I think I'm about to upgrade to a AMD Phenom II X6 1100t. If that is the case, hopefully that will resolve the issue. (if that is truly the case, hopefully THEY resolve the issue)

Other than that (and that I hate the Web Interface to start the game), it seems to be pretty good. Very clean graphics.

What's your ping? If you die before you see the person you're ping may be high and everything is happening for everyone else faster than it is for you. CPU is more for how the game looks and runs vs how it performs over the net. That is bandwidth and ping.

I haven't quite figured that out yet. Sometimes I can see it... other times... not so much.

It runs excellent. I have an older proc, a Q6600 that i've been running with for 3 years now paired with an xfx 6870 and it runs smooth on High settings. It's so much better than the recent closed beta it's comical. I knew the beta was an older build of the game, but It was probably REALLY old.

I was able to do the VPN cheat to unlock my game on the 24th and start playing, and I "worked" from home yesterday, haha.
