That’s a good theory given past connections. But you’d then have to wonder how Wentz would react to having Foles’ shadow looming over him again?

Given the contract comparisons as well as on the field performance, Dallas would have better off offering a conditional 6th for Minshew rather than trade for Foles as Minshew would be a far superior back-up to anything Dallas has while having him under contract for the next 2 years for under $1M each season......and also keeping him off the Eagles roster.

he may not wan to be here so a trade lie Minshew's would be better IMO if thats their target don't let player have a choice..

with foles cap hit CHI wont have many better options then 5th maybe conditional should he play a lot moves to 4 doubt that happens but that wouldn't be bad trade....

Not so sure about that. They don't want Wentz looking over his shoulder and Rivers is on speed dial. He played there last year, knows the offense and the team, and is likely the only place Rivers goes if he comes out of retirement.
