You know mcchicken out rushed forte last year, had more yards per carry and one less td

Yah, why dont you post all the stats. Games played, carries, yards, TD's, receiving yards and receptions. Post them all and lets compare the two.

I read that about a million times last off season also.

Just take a look at the facts. Murray and McFadden are in very similar situations. Its becoming a pattern now with the Cowboys Oline. Its now two years in a row that two RB's that had mild careers prior have had their best year behind the Dallas line. If a guy can get the carries in Dallas and stay healthy, he is going to have a great season. It goes back to the theory that you can put any decent back behind this line and he will do well given the opportunity. That theory is being proven right before our eyes. But you still need a difference maker at RB. Murray was difference maker. McChicken was not. I would not roll the dice on him staying healthy again. And why would you want him to? What did he do here but rack up some yards behind the best line in football? 3 TD's? He didnt scare anyone.

Lets also not forget that McChicken played sparingly the first 5 or 6 games? So what did he really prove health wise?
Go back and read the threads from last summer about DMC. Very few, and I mean VERY few, thought he would accomplish what he did last year. Had he started all year, instead of finishing 4th in the league in rushing he would have been #3 behind Martin and Peterson. Health wise, safe to say he proved a hell of a lot.

He did more than most thought he would including me. But that is because he stayed healthy. He is NOT a dependable RB year in and year out as your lead back. In a pinch he did well last year. But still, not even in his best year like last year was he a good enough RB for this ball club. To depend on him as the lead back would be another big mistake. If you want to be a contender. Its the difference between high standards and low standards I would say. Nothing special about McFadden. If it showed one thing about McFadden it was that his breakaway speed is gone. Doesnt have it anymore.

The Cowboys need to get a difference maker like both SB teams have.
Now what were their names again?
