Then don't watch the game. Sounds pretty simple to me?

I won't miss the game.

I'll cheer my butt off. I think we have a team that is capable of beating anyone.

But this team stubs their own toe way to often and you can't do that in these big games.

I just don't see them getting out of their own way. If they do they will win.

But I just got that bad feeling that tomorrow night is the night the wheels come off.

Wades nonchalant attitude catches up with him every year and just when we need him to sound like a fighter he just seems as dejected as usual.

His face walking to the locker room last Sunday vs San Diego to me really shows what Wade is all about. He is just not a leader. Hes a great X's and O'
s guy. But you just cant depend on him for any kind of leadership.

Religion is about faith. Sports are about tangible results. Where in the big book of fandom does it say that fans have to always be positive regardless of what the team does?

I'd argue that periodic negativity when it is warrented makes one a better fan than someone who always jolly and positive regardless of the situation. It means you are willing to accept mediocrity.

Reading this board, you'd think we were fans of the Cardinals or Saints, that we are fans of a team that has always been awful and we are happy about any little thing. We are fans of the Dallas ****ing Cowboys and we should demand better.

Nobody said you had to do anything.

In my opinion negativity does no good during the season. This team has not been eliminated from anything. It needs and can certainly benefit from fan support.

If things go poorly for us these next two weeks, and we somehow get eliminated before our week 17 game.........
Then I'm all for showing up at Cowboys stadium and letting Mr Jones know how you feel.
Actually I think it would be best if only the most irrate 40,000 fans show up.

Well, I agree about the Coach! But I'm not conceding anything before it happens. That is a loser mentality...

Oh, so you are some spoiled brat that cannot take the good with the bad, huh?

You only want good stuff or you will close your eyes and hold your breath until mommy buys you that toy?

Again, we know who you are.

You :hammer: it.

That's cool...you can think what you want. I'm not so sure they can beat the Saints, but, I also think that they can. You just never know, you just never know.

I tried that the last two years and got kicked in the nuts.

I'll go with very cautious optimism this time, thanks.

Yea I believed they would come out against San Diego and play their best ball of the season. I don't think they have any more in them. They're not going to magically turn into a better team than they are. If they play mistake free in the first quarter and make a play or two here and there, they can keep it close at least. But to believe that they'll come out and win? They haven't shown me, in 13 games this season, not once have they shown me that they're a better team than the Saints. I'd like to see it, but at this point there's no reason to believe it.

Let me ask you something. Did you believe we would win a playoff game these last 12 years?

I did and I feel like a LOSER. Does nothing to have a so called winners mentality when You lose year after year after year after year after year.

I'm done believing...I hope we do good that's about it. We can still get in the playoffs with one win and a Giants collapse. That's being realistic.

Im right there with you. I think if we dont have self inflicted mistakes we will win no problem.

But I also think if we didn't have self inflicted mistakes we'd be 12-1 right now too.

Since the advent of the salary cap, the "best" team rarely wins the Super Bowl.

The Steelers were by no means the best team in the NFL last season, nor were the NYFG the year before, they just were just the best team on the field each particular day they played in the playoffs.

I truly believe that Dallas can win the Super Bowl this season. The Saints are primed for a beatdown. Fair officiating and Dallas walks away with this one easily then does it again in January.

Do you think of those hard core Browns or Raider fans as losers?

Not me ...... I think they are some of the best fans in the world.

Fans who stick by their team through thick and thin ..... Real fans.

I wish the Cowboys had fans like that instead of the spoiled, feeling sorry for themselves, brats that think the team "owes" them something.

But thats just me.

My fanhood has never changed...The only difference now is that I accept the team for what it is. A above average team that can do some damage. But I dont go convincing myself they are more then that just to have a winner mentality. A so called Belief in the team.

I have my "Believe" Sig Ready.

Lets beat the Saints and shut these Cowards up.

Cowards?

LOL

Tell me. What is it exactly that you are putting on the line with your proclamations of BELIEF.

In other words... if inspite of your proclamations of BELIEF the team loses how are you affected in a way that makes you braver then those who might HOPE but not necessarily BELIEVE.

Are you putting your house on the line? Anything of real significant value?

If not then you are no better then the hopers.

Put up or shut up.

Anyone else see the irony of all this huffing and puffing of BELIEVE with nothing to back it up?

Talk is cheap.
