So if we reserve our second round picks for TEs...why are we taking LBs or trading out of those spots? But by all means, continue to be flat out WRONG.

I did not say reserved exclusively for TE if you want to take everything literally. Your post just brings to light what a horribly run franchise this is. 3 out 5 five is pathetic based on the results. Basically the Cowboys have wasted second round picks for a long time. Lee is the only decent player and he is too fragile to be counted on. That Jerry Jones is a shrewd operator. All we need are a couple more TE's and we are practically guaranteed a championship.

And Fasano and Bennett are both still playing and starting in the NFL. They may not have worked out here, but they were quality picks. Dallas got a 4th back from Miami for Fasano in 2008 but wasted it on Pacman Jones.

No the pick they got for Fasano was traded for two other picks that ended up being Tashard Choice and Orlando Scandrick.

Concerning the rest of your post...the initial discussion had nothing to do with rather they are good or bad in the second round picks...it had to do with them reserving the second round picks for TEs...which again was proven false.

You're right. That was the year of the trade back, trade back, trade back. Miami's pick was 100, which we traded to OAK

We traded our own 4th rounder(126) to TENN for Jones.
