Ridiculous. Small school QB with no preseason and little knowledge of the offense or receivers. He is basically the scout team QB who needs lots of development. That’s why he wasn’t even allowed to Throw a pass. He was only #2 last night because the other vet needs to pass protocol and learn the offense.

Dinucci is a project. He won’t be our backup QB in future games.

I disagree that DiNucci gives us a better chance to win, for now. At the same time, we know what we have in Dalton and while he might get better as he gels with the team as the season goes on, I'd like to know what we have in other players. DiNucci, Pollard, D. Wilson (although he is getting more playing time), Bernard. I would say also some young Oline players, but they are already in...lol.

As much as I want to see what DiNucci can do out there, it is too soon. I do love his arm and the ease of his throwing motion but no preseason? Come on, man!

The Cowboys will soon have to face 3 of the teams leading the league in sacks. DiNucci will no doubt wind up playing out of necessity at some point.

Agreed. Most young QBs development is screwd up playing on teams like this.

He has a great arm by all accounts and can run so I guess his mobility alone could be a advantage over Andy with this inexperienced line. Some rookie qb's get gun shy after taking a beating and never recover, so that must be a consideration too. I'm all in on Andy until it's determined he just can't do it anymore behind this horrid oline. If Moore will call a quick passing game and screens then Andy might have success this week against the no name team,
