This injury is related to the same left pectoral tear that ended his season last October.

You are right it is nothing like the hamstring issues of Johnson but who knows if it is similar or not to the left shoulder injuries Claiborne had.

What was it you told me? Speak to what you know?

Again---Gardner, one camp. Claiborne and Johnson, multiple camps.

Sad I have to do the message board equivalent of speaking to you slow.

You being this dandy intellectual with an intense vocabulary and all.

I never claimed to be one. I trained in mathematical discipline over the classic education. Is this what you think 'dandy intellectuals' sound like or something? You should scan through Hume, Kant or Joyce and reevaluate. A real 'dandy intellectual' would make your head explode if this is what I do to you. Snipe some more if it makes you feel better. It doesn't bother me.

Your desire to make me look stupid definitely answers some questions though.

You set the standard of 'nothing like.' You don't meet that standard because one left shoulder injury is 'something like' anohter left shoulder injury. Showing another way that they are unrelated doesn't change that. You tried to move the goalposts but your fail to realize they are meaningless.

And in an effort to not miss the forest for the trees the significance of 'multiple training camps' is that it means over an extended period of time unless you think that it happening in TC in particular is meaningful. Please argue that. It would be funny.

Me stating that the original injury happened 8 months ago speaks to that and is 'something like' even your new goalpost.

Its funny watching you go fanboi though after as much ridicule you pour on others for doing that for things they like. "Don't say anything bad about my favorite player," cried the fanboi.

I did not move any goalposts. I stated the real distinct difference.

People are lumping Gardner into the same oft injured boat as Claiborne and Johnson and want him gone.

And that is just wrong.

If you cannot figure that out, too bad.

Nothing "fanboi" about it.

And if you want to try and find where I stated Gardner is my "favorite player", please please try. Try real hard.

Perhaps it would occupy enough of your time that you would not post any more drivel for a while.

Let's all try to hate each other a little less obviously in this thread. What do you say?

I get what you are trying to do. You don't want people to give up on a player that you are a fan of. It's what fanbois do and why I brought it up. I am just pointing out your argument sucks. You said and I quote

bad argument said:
He is nothing like Johnson or Claiborne

Say it slow. Maybe it will help you remember.

Saying one manner in which they are different does not lead to the conclusion that they are 'nothing alike.' First of all you are trying to prove a negative which is pretty ignorant but then you double down on that by repeating yourself when I clearly adddresed that. I will help.

Gardner is having problems with the same shoulder he injured 8 months ago. The shoulder injury Claiborne got in college lingered into his rookie season too. Nothing alike? Really?

But hey its funny watching you go fanboi. Ironic frankly.

I find it amusing. I don't think I have ever witnessed somebody try so hard to try and make people think they're smart. It would make an interesting psychological case study.

I don't really care what you make of my intent as long as you judge my arguments on merit.

I will try.

There is no try. There is only do, or do not. I think that was Descartes who said that.

Which one? I'm gonna guess Fuzzy. Fuzzy's really smart, though. Sometimes, smart people want to take the rest of us along with them. That's something I can sympathize with, because I'm the same way, only with laziness.

I would try and discuss the difference and overlap between 'look smart' and 'be smart' but highbrow talk has pissed some people off.

I just wish that people would use the ignore feature instead of taking shots at me if it offends them. I don't feel I am doing anything wrong.

Who said I was talking about you? Get a guilty tickle or something?

Oh yeah so when three people have called me out for trying to 'look smart' in the last couple of hours then it is completely unreasonable to assume you are piling on?

I agree with Alexander's obviously correct point.

Gardner has had one chance with the Cowboys. This is his first camp.

Guys like Matt Johnson have had numerous chances and at some point you can't just chalk it up as a bad year.

It's like the Landry 3 year rule. And he's never wrong.

You're just disagreeing with them, and then trying to keep the discussions on topic and adhering to demonstrable logical principles. That ruffles feathers. They killed Socrates for it, if I remember correctly. Though he probably had it coming.

Keep on truckin' brother. As long as it's in the realm of argument, and not insult, it's great stuff.
