a young coach will not thrive here with the current f/o dynamic in place.
it will eat him alive.
the only chance is a strong willed, strong minded hc who can and would coach "around" jerry.
short list.
but until the f/o set-up changes...its how the mop-flops.

"Two, he wants what Breer called "organizational alignment between the GM and the head coach.''

"And three, per Breer, "He’ll be looking for recognition from the organization of the things that have gone wrong, and a willingness to fix them.”

Might as well count him out!! He wants accountability
both of those are a no to dallas. plus he is going to be expensive which jerry just can't afford ;) ;)

Sure he has but his team has also won a lot of games..........
As stated, if it's true, speaking to the teams with upcoming vacancies that have had little or no success even after firing 1-2 coaches over the last 5-10 years.
Personally, I am not that impressed with Ben. Game plans are easy with the talent they have.....plus he's only been an OC for two years.
This is his third year as OC, 13th year coaching in the NFL. He’s 38 years old. He should put a value on his services as a head coach and seek it. If NFL teams balk at his salary demands, or any other demands, he either lowers his expectations or returns to his current position and work on making himself more valuable.

He knows what owners can pay coaches.

Jerry’s resigning Mike.

The so-called wildcatter is a shell of his former moniker.

He runs everything back now.
