I agree with you, but I definitely know where he is coming from. It's a "home team" thing. Though, not all Cowboys fans are from Dallas / Fort Worth or neighboring areas.

Growing up in a military family and living many places around the country I respectfully disagree.

Lived in Seattle for a bit so was partial to the Sonics back in the day.

Lived in Florida as well near the St. Pete Times Forum so my 2nd favorite team is the Lightning.

I like to see the Mavs win however, but no obligations due to being in one state here.

I am from San Antonio, there is no way in Hell, I would ever be a Mavs or Rockets fan. There no way I would be a Rangers, Texans, or Stars fan. I have been a lifelong Spurs and Cowboys fan.

But, by your logic, you should be a Spurs and Chiefs fan, since both came from Dallas.

My father wasn't really a sports fan per say but he did take me to yankee games with his friends.

So.... Naturally I became a yankee fan.

Yankees and Cowboys... They each rotate between 1 and 1a

There really isn't a #3... I liked the bulls because of Jordan
I like the spurs because of Duncan.... LeBron, wherever he is.

I was born and raised in the Metroplex, but I have zero interest in any Dallas team other than the Boys. Deal with it.

That is what Texans fans tell me. I live in Houston so I must pull for the Texans. Not going to happen. If I moved out of Texas (which I never would do) I would still pull for the Cowboys.
