I have never understood why people root for teams they have no city or state affiliation with. I just don't get the thought of randomly picking a team to support. I know there are states and many major cities without professional teams but they should be fans of the closest geographical team to them.
What is really hate is when people switch teams because they move to another city. How the heck do you do that.
If you are a Cowboys fan then you should naturally root for the Mavs,Stars and Rangers. I only root for Texas teams.
I don't root for teams I have no affiliation with.
The Longhorns and TCU are my favorite college teams.
You think? Y'all look nothing alike.
Michigan over the Cowboys? What are you, a freakin unicorn? Because you don't exist in my world. lol
#2 Michigan State Spartans.
Syracuse Orange
NBA=Spurs
MLB=Astros
NHL=Stars
Used to be the Cowboys but then I realized that most players care about their contracts and fame more than the team. In college sports, it's not as rampant. Most players in college know they will never make it pro and leave it all out on the field of play and take losses hard knowing they will never get to play again (seniors).
Years back when Romo responded after a playoff loss that if that was the worst thing to ever happen to him, he lived a good life (I'm paraphrasing mind you.) I felt stupid for taking losses so hard when I found out our players could talk about a loss with such indifference. So yeah.
