1. Dallas Cowboys
2. Detroit Red Wings

Not a big fan of NBA and could care less about baseball. But probably would root for Pistons and Tigers.

Never had a favorite college football team so probably my favorite is where I played college and that is Wayne State University. My old HC is now the Defensive Coordinator for Notre Dame and my old Defensive Coordinator is the DC for Tennessee. So I root for those teams to do well.

And I'm a fan of whomever plays the U of M. I'm loving that the Spartans are making the Wolverines their "little brother" as of late.

I have never understood why people root for teams they have no city or state affiliation with. I just don't get the thought of randomly picking a team to support. I know there are states and many major cities without professional teams but they should be fans of the closest geographical team to them.

Part of it is if you move out of state. For instance I grew up living in Texas and grew up a Cowboys fan. I moved to Detroit when I was 9. No way was I going to root for the Lions. What is really hate is when people switch teams because they move to another city. How the heck do you do that. I get flak from friends in Charlotte now. They ask me why I don't root for the Panthers? They aren't my team!

If you are a Cowboys fan then you should naturally root for the Mavs,Stars and Rangers. I only root for Texas teams.

I don't root for teams I have no affiliation with.

The Longhorns and TCU are my favorite college teams.

If everyone thought that way, Dallas wouldn't be America's Team.

I try to follow the Chicago Cubs a little, but I really can't stay focused on any other team but the Dallas Cowboys

Michigan over the Cowboys? What are you, a freakin unicorn? Because you don't exist in my world. lol

Used to be the Cowboys but then I realized that most players care about their contracts and fame more than the team. In college sports, it's not as rampant. Most players in college know they will never make it pro and leave it all out on the field of play and take losses hard knowing they will never get to play again (seniors).

Years back when Romo responded after a playoff loss that if that was the worst thing to ever happen to him, he lived a good life (I'm paraphrasing mind you.) I felt stupid for taking losses so hard when I found out our players could talk about a loss with such indifference. So yeah.

I think if we all made Romo money, we would take losses less hard as well.

Syracuse Orange

They were my favorite college team in the 80s.......Derrick Coleman is my favorite college player of all time. My bro was a Hoyas fan, and I hated them, so I started rooting for the Orangemen. After they lost to Kentucky in the late 90s and then changed their name and uniform, I lost interest in them. I couldn't stand Carmelo Anthony even in college. I was a fan of the Longhorns, but Penders couldn't coach worth a darn. Plus, for most of the 80s, the only Texas basketball you could find on TV was the women's team. Then my school got college basketball in 2000 (TAMU-CC), now they are my favorite team, followed by the Horns.

I have always been a Horns fan in football, baseball, and softball. Thanks to my Dad, I like Army.

It's all good. To each their own. I used to love the Texas A&M Aggies with a passion. From fifth grade till about two years ago. Now I'm a Texas Longhorns fan. This dramatic change came about mainly because of that idiot Johnny Football who ruined the Aggie mystique, and the unnecessary move to the SEC. I used to live for the Longhorns and Aggies rivalry game every Thanksgiving. I'll never forgive TAMU for thinking they were bigger than the Big 12. Shame on them. The final reason for making the switch was because my biological father, who I got back in touch with before he passed away a couple years ago was a big Horns fan. It just felt right. Also it doesn't hurt that my older brother's allegianc lies with UT.
