LOL, I knew my post was going to get that kind of reaction.

Consider it more of a statement vote than anything. Do I think that he is the best QB of all time? Probably not. But I do think that his greatness has been undervalued since he retired. He was a remarkably efficient runner and passer (admittedly facilitated by his play in the WCO).

I've seen him badmouthed enough on this board, especially around the time of his HoF induction, and I can't really understand it.

Fair enough. I actually picked Young on the negative side partly because Moon was getting so hammered and I didn't want to pile on. I can understand skewing to make a statement. But there are ALOT of guys on that list Young doesn't measure up to. An argument can be made that he's better than Moon, Kelly & possibly Fouts, but thats about it.

Young was a very good QB but not close to caliber of Montana, Elway, Manning, Marino or Unitas. It's easier to put Young at the bottom of that list than at the top. In your defense, he can still be put on that list, which is a victory in itself.
