What has been your best vacation?

In terms of scenery, experience, food, whatever.

What has been your overall best vacation?

Mine: Crete, Greece.

By far my most enjoyable vacation. Huge island, great people, nightlife is AMAZING. Beaches, food, hotels, shopping. Everything was amazing.

The next one I am scheduled to take. Each and every time. :wink2:

Spent a few weeks in Europe, going from London to Paris to Rome, with a few stops at various places in between.

Pretty self explanatory why that was an awesome vacation.

You were poking holes in Dan Brown's plot lines?

I went to Paris last year. Then took the train to Brussels for a night and then Amsterdam for a few days.

Paris was by far my favorite place. My buddies liked Amsterdam more than I did but they were there for the obvious reason while I wasn't.

Paris was amazing. The Louvre was incredible. Versailles was pretty sweet too.

We hardly slept in Paris. Plane landed at like 6AM and we were pretty much constantly on the move from then until the train to Brussels.

I don't think it gets much better than Paris. Even on our last night, we were out til 3 AM with friends before our 6 AM flight to Rome. Rome's great and all but I did not want to leave Paris.

Yep. Was there in 2001, was great.

Best holidays for me, I enjoy just about all of them but for me

Paris 2001, Italy 2010, Disneyland 2007/2008 first time with my son, and then Florida (Walt Disney World and Cocoa Beach) 2009. London in 2002/2006 were also good.

Figures that you guys enjoyed Paris.

Sedona, AZ
You gotta take a hot air balloon ride if you ever go there. The jeep ride to the cliff dwellings and the short trip to the meteor crater were pretty cool too. :)

What up, Joe Dirt?

Ahhhh, Paris. I've seen pictures. Looks really nice. :)

Haven't been on a "planned" vacation, ever. Got kids. Everytime I turn around I'm eating away at my vacation hours with field trips, illnesses or Girl Scout activities, football camps, fair day, etc.

I do have about 4 days in a row when it's all said and done and it's usually spent in New Mexico helping out my folks. Winterizing and a to do list. I don't mind tho. I can usually plan that around the Int'l Balloon Fiesta time frame and have a day of that. It's pretty cool if you've never experienced it.

My best vacation was white water rafting in the mountains of North Carolina. It was 72 degrees in the middle of the summer with no humidity. Great scenery too.

Louvres, Versailles, Invalides, Eiffel Tower, Musee D'Orsay, day trip to Normandy

My trip to Italy this month, July 1-17 allowed me to see a ton

Rome, Assisi, Florence, Pisa, Bologna, Venice, Naples and Pompeii.

The isle of Barbuda.

My wife and I went there for our 10th anniversary, at a resort called Lighthouse Bay.

We were the only guests there for five days. We received personalized menus each night for dinner. Freshest lobster in the world on this island (2nd largest export for the place). Beach was 17 miles of pink sand.

Capped it off with a helicopter trip over Montserrat - the damage from the volcano will take your breath away.

That photo of Jeff Ireland makes me want to punch him in the face.

Probably for the best. Don't want your wife catching you eyeballing some pretty, little Island girl on your anniversary.

I have been to Paris. My favorite vacation was chilling on the American Beach in Tirrenia, Italy.
