If Jerry extends Dak it makes my Sunday afternoons much easier.
I can look forward to relaxing and spending quality time outdoors or doing church related things without wondering who won.
I've already pretty much let go of the Cowboys; this would likely solidify it.
So I will not fret if he signs Dak.
Why the hell would you not spend your Sundays doing that anyway lol? You chose the Cowboys over your family? Damn.

If the plan is to tear it down after this year, which I believe it is, why would you resign an aging quarterback to another long term deal when he's owed 95 mil over the next two years, the second year is dead money against the cap......So many coaches and players are either on one year deals or last year of contracts which indicates to me a rebuild is in the works for 2025...It doesn't make a lot of sense to me resigning Dak to as I see it as an albatross contract on this franchise in two years from now.....

I'm for letting Dak walk after this year, trade Parsons for picks since I believe this franchaise is growing tired of his act....If Ceedee wants to be the highest paid receiver, then if you're looking to rebuild after this year, then I'd be willing to trade him as well.....
No way Jerry plan for a tear down. He will expect the next coaching staff to come in as contenders with his "ready built team."

He just doesn't have it in him to start over.

Bla bla bla, you'll be here and you'll be watching games. You guys and your ultimatums never follow through. Sorry man, we've all got the same sickness.

Maybe you can watch without pulling out your hair though. That would still be progress for most.

Because the owner won’t add talent to the roster? Because we have no idea who the HC will be a year from now. Because the owner told the fans a big reason he sat out free agency was because the qb (and two others) wants more money. Because we just let his starting LT and C walk out the door. Because Jerry is playing hardball with his contract for the second time? Because such a high volume of cowboy fans don’t like the man to the point that his own brother has publicly said he should leave Dallas?

Also because there are several teams that will be in position to pay him top of the market money and they are not exactly bad teams either, Pittsburgh being a team to watch.
Strange take. Have you been to Pittsburgh? Have you seen where Dak lives? Did you take math classes in college?

The only reason I come here now is to keep certain posters from misrepresenting stats to spread their pro- Dak propaganda.
And even at that there are some of my posts that mysteriously disappear, as if someone with that power is helping them (jzct).
It's amazing to see my posts disappear with no explanation whatsoever.

Signing Dak now after Love is exactly something JJ would do. Let's sign the QB who led the Cowboys to a humiliating defeat at the hands of Jordan Love.

So you believe Dak will turn down an offer by Jethro which makes him the highest paid QB?
Just me, but I think he's already turned it down.......remember $56M or more would make him the highest paid. I think he and France are trying to use their unprecedented leverage to get something closer to $60M. This IMO could be why Jerry is so ticked off.......Dak refuses to accept anything less than his perceived value ($60M or more ).

I'm pro Dak, I'm also anti Dak.

I'll still maintain you have a vested interest and are strung out on this team, just like me. We're sick men, might as well accept it lol.
