Strange take. Have you been to Pittsburgh? Have you seen where Dak lives? Did you take math classes in college?
You don’t think Dak can find a nice piece of property in Pittsburgh?

Also I graduated with a degree in mathematics, what’s your point?

Why would Dak want to move?
When it’s clear to a player that guys that play his position, but have accomplished less, are getting significant compensation it has to be discouraging your team doesn’t see you as comparatively valuable. Knowing there would be a few teams comfortable paying you a record sum, because they can acquire you with no compensation to the Cowboys, you’re basically being shown the door by your team. Under this circumstance you should want to move. Add to it Jerry Jones’ struggling making decisions on a direction for the team, even using the word “ambiguity” like it’s a positive posture, you need to get out as soon as you can. I suggest this has been considered by Dak. A blind man should be able to see the disarray that is the Cowboys at this moment in time.

I'm pretty sure that team Dak wanted all of the other qbs to sign 1st and then do their deal. The smoke is there that a deal is coming. A blind man can smell it.

Dak and his agent have probably already given the lowest number they'd accept to the Jones's. It's a number they clearly don't like. I don't see how it is anything other than obvious. I don't think there is any negotiating because they are so far off.
So do you have proof of that? Because one minute you hear that they are communicating well and now they say they aren't even close? These reporters put out so many false reports, that's for sure.

Once again they also foolishly refused to address those needs and now they will probably have a rookie center who has never played the position and a project left tackle.
It wasn't foolish to draft the linemen that they drafted.

He doesn't want to move to Pittsburgh. He already has an incredible property in Frisco and has the best working facilities in the league.

No team has ever done what Dallas would do by letting Prescott walk. Closest would be Cousins in Washington, but they were pretty clear about not trying very hard to keep him
No team has had a 31 year old QB play for them over 8 years, take his team to the playoffs with 12 Wins 3 years in a row...then lay another egg in the post season. No, not all on Dak, but when it comes to laying out 60 large over 4-5 years it certainly plays a huge deciding factor in the long-term future of this team

Jerry will eventually resign Dak because Rush and Lance are showing they simply are not good enough to be made starters, plus the Cowboys don't have a better younger talent at QB waiting in the wings. With Dak, the Cowboys still remain playoff capable relevant on a yearly basis, so expect Jerry to resign Dak to a monster deal soon.
Granted, Rush has had his debut, but when has Lance had an opportunity to show anything at this point?

We will see about that. Some thought they were foolish with their kicker last year.
It was stupid too and it worked. I’m not saying it won’t work. I’m just saying this is not how you run a franchise. You don’t waste second round picks on tight ends….sure it may work but it’s not smart.

Lance is getting his chance this preseason. So far, he doesn't look even better than Rush. Good luck Lance being here next year if he keeps looking this bad.

When the time comes I wouldn’t bet against Dak becoming the richest Cowboy player ever.

That probably isn’t a path to the Super Bowl, but it avoids the path to complete uncertainty.

And for all of his professional tolerance for ambiguity , Jethro isn’t starting from scratch at QB anytime soon.

Our dysfunctional ownerships insistence on remaining “ relative and interesting “ hedges on a playoff caliber Franchise QB regardless the implications thereof .
I fully expect the idiot Joneses to make this stupid decision

If Jerry extends Dak it makes my Sunday afternoons much easier.
I can look forward to relaxing and spending quality time outdoors or doing church related things without wondering who won.
I've already pretty much let go of the Cowboys; this would likely solidify it.
So I will not fret if he signs Dak.
Bull. You know how it is when you pass a bad car accident. You just have to look. Same thing here.

Dak will get signed because Jerry is the HOF GM and the smartest person in the room and he is "all in", so,

"Here we goooo".

Just me, but I think he's already turned it down.......remember $56M or more would make him the highest paid. I think he and France are trying to use their unprecedented leverage to get something closer to $60M. This IMO could be why Jerry is so ticked off.......Dak refuses to accept anything less than his perceived value ($60M or more ).
I think you’re very on track.

From there, for me anyway….what happens with Dak should have everything to do with how you handle Lamb and Parsons, so it seems as if everything is on hold and Prescott is holding all the cards, not Jerry.

But his ego wants that discount….and he is mad for not getting what he thinks he paid for.

It's logic more than proof. Too many whispers by people like Fisher that his camp is in that ballpark. It makes sense that ownership is sort of balking, if that is their asking price. We'll find out I guess...

Why would Dak want to move?
The one and only reason Dak would want to leave is to chase the bag.

This BS about him wanting to leave to try and win a championship is just that. BS.
