It's the one show I really look forward to each week. It's a nuance to 'Breaking Bad' - very subtle in it's approach and use of old BB characters. This could actually turn out to be the better series. I'm shocked and delighted.
Some serious backdrop on Mike Ehrmantraut tonight. I can only assume his character will be huge in forthcoming episodes.
Deathly serious episode after a hysterical comedy the episode prior. Hard to get a gauge on where this is headed.
Uh, it's a prequel of sorts to BB.
Pretty clear where it is headed lol
Yeah but Saul in BB was mostly comic relief don't you think? I certainly didn't expect it to be as serious as the last episode was.
Deep.
The character that we saw in BB.. that episode explains it all.
I loved the episode last night. I love how they gave us the backstory and now ties into everything that Mike would become for BB. I loved it. Great work.
I'm absolutely loving this show.
The only question is what causes Mike to be estranged from his Kylee in BB. Is his daughter n law alive in BB? I don't recall ever seeing her character.
Doesn't he leave her money in BB? Then there is an episode in BB where they get that money before she does?
I got the sense that he was not welcome and had to see his granddaughter while she wasn't around if she is still alive in BB.
I don't think the granddaughter ever got the money - I think the DEA seized it and they were onto Mike hence him having to flee town before he was shot by Walt.
Yup that was it. He made it a point to leave her money prior to that point I believe.
Yeah he really is kind of a tragic hero of sorts.
