I love it when people say we should get rid of Dak. Who do they want to replace him with? A rookie QB where one out of every five fail? Trey Lance who hasn't shown anything? What has Herbert won or Allen or Burrows or Jackson? And lets see, Dak leading the league in TDs, pretty close in yards and should continue when we extend Lamb. And this behind an OL where we have only had the starters for 50 percent of the snaps all year. Hate to break it to the fans but without a good OL you don't get any RB making yards and without a run game then most of the time your pass game is crap.

Anyone see the holes that the Lions ran through last night? Big difference and makes a bigger difference in how plays are called. And our defense, as good as they are, needs a true run stopper that makes a difference. You want Dak to get us to a Super Bowl, then improve the OL which makes running and passing for better. Get a guy in the middle of the defensive line that makes a difference then your whole defense rises to a great team.

And OMG, quit worrying about the stupid salary cap. It goes up every year and there are literally 100s of ways to work around it. If there wasn't then teams like the Broncos, Chiefs, and others would have nothing but scrubs playing.

With quarterback salaries expected to reach $60 million, the Cowboys are in no real rush to extend Dak.
He's never won anything, and hasn't proven that he can show up in big games. Instead, he has struggled every time the Cowboys needed him to be the reason they were able to get to the next level.
With a $59 million cap hit coming, the Cowboys will be better off to ride it out and demand that Dak earn his next extension.

Make him earn his next contract.
It's amazing how nervous Dak fans get at the prospect of him having to earn it.

The only fact they need is we haven’t won a championship with Prescott. That fuels their narrative . They offer no other criticism , contributing factors or weaknesses .

Watch #65 purposely miss sacking Dak for a safety on that supposed 92 yard touchdown pass. Dak had nowhere to go. Professionals don't miss on that easy of a play.
