If WVU finishes this game off(4:39 left) then the BigXII will most likely not have a representative in the playoffs this season.

A bit too early to say.
Several tough game match-ups left around the country - may not be anyone undefeated.
I agree that there may not be an undefeated team this season. I think the Big XII's best chance to be in the playoffs was to have an undefeated team. They will have a difficult time getting in with a one loss team. As you said there are several tough game match-ups left and when it is all done the Big XII may not even have a one loss team left.
True.
Baylor could still win out, and has already beaten TCU and K St, who could both finish in the top 10. Even OU could be top 15 by season's end.
Definitely a crazy year.

Baylor and KSU have not faced each other yet. One of those teams will end up with at least 2 losses after they face each other at the end of the season. The Bears also have to play at OU.
Kansas St may be the best hope to get into the playoffs if they can run the table. They will have one loss on the season to Auburn. The have road trips left to West Virginia, TCU and Baylor.
I really see the Big XII knocking each other off and every team in the conference ending up with at least 2 losses.

True about KSU.
But you'll probably agree that those are very long odds that they would win those three road games.
If they certainly will earn whatever they get. They'd be top 5 or so most likely
Can't see it though..

Aggies are wishing they were back in the Big 12 right about now; down 52-0 in the 3rd, to Bama.
Yeah, the talk the SEC defenses can't cover the spread earlier this year was, to put it politely, I'll advised.
They're knocking each other off, as well; so the SEC champ also will be hard to pick.
I do not agree. Right or wrong, the SEC has such a good rep that they will get their champion into the playoffs. The Big XII isn't as highly regarded. They need a team to be undefeated or at worst only have one loss.
I don't think two SEC teams will make the playoffs. One conference out of the Power 5 will be left out and I think it will be the Big XII. They need to hope that the Big 10 rep ends up with 2 losses then maybe they will get the edge there. It also depends on how well Notre Dame finishes the season. If they finish undefeated or maybe even with one loss then that will leave two of the Power 5 conferences without a representative in the playoffs. And all of this is based on my assumption that the Big XII champion will end up with two losses. If Baylor had won today I think they could have gone the rest of the rest of the year with only one loss. Now I think they will suffer one more loss before the year is over. Same with K-State and TCU.
