One final post before the bowls commence, but this may be the greatest gif EVER! :D

No, not the greatest, but pretty darn funny. Thanks for sharing.

Good bowl season for Big 12.

Fiesta: Baylor vs UCF-- only one I have zero interest in. Should be a shallacking.

Sugar: OU vs Bama-- very interesting game imho. Think Bama wins but not by a big margin. Bama has struggled versus spread offenses like OU runs.

Cotton: OKST vs Missou-- I have OKST here. Think they can run on Missou and Missou should be a little let down by falling out of possible NC game to non BCS bowl.

Holiday: Tech vs ASU-- Interesting match up. Watching ASU get manhandled by Stanford but Tech in no position to do that. Think this is a closer game than forecast with ASU winning it by a TD.

Alamo: Texas vs Oregon-- Oregon is a far better team but they seem flat done. UT could win this one in essentially a home game.

Wild Wings: KSU vs Mich-- Very interesting game. Could go either way. Mich has more talent but KSU has better coaching.

Think Big 12 would gladly take a 3-3 bowl record from these games all while splitting up enormous bowl pots.

The two BCS games alone are like 36 million dollars in revenue split 10 ways, I assume the team that plays in one gets a slightly larger portion of the pot, but of this I am not certain.

Well TCU/WVA are on smaller shares for first few years of their deal with conference.
Think all other teams share equally after travel expenses incurred by attending schools.

You are talking ~60m split 10 ways.Likely ~7m per original remaining Big 12 member.

That's as high as you will find for any conference.

K State whipping a team that was a play away from beating Ohio State, two things to take away from this: the Big 10 is gar -bahage and the Big 12 was underrated this season, not near as down as peripheral talking heads tried to pretend.

I really don't know the story with Michigan's QB. Was he that good that missing him makes a huge difference? I know this guy being so young can't help. (He's got a great arm, though. Especially for a lefty.)

Snyder is simply one of the very, very, very best coaches in the country. Of course he'll never get great recruits whee he's located, but he always makes the most of what he has. Amazing guy.

Snyder's excellence resides in the fact that he mines Kansas jucos and monopolizes them before other midwest programs can take a look, that's his recruitment field. Great coach, but that's his recruitment secret.

Texas is making the Big 12 look bad. Still more games to go before anyone can say conclusively(well, at least a little) if the Big 12 was garbage or not. I think the Big 12 was down this year. I know the Big 10 still sucks.

Yea. So much for winning one for Mack. They all look bored in burnt orange.

Case McCoy looked worse playing in a dome than he did playing in frigid Waco a few weeks ago. There is no reason Texas should have even recruited the guy. They should be getting more top QBs on their team. Even if one has to sit on the bench while the other plays. Right now they don't have any good QBs.

I'm not up on their QB's but that freshman looks ok. Vince Young version 2?

He put that long ball right in that guys hands & he dropped it.

Not sure what to say about McCoy. Just an ugly farewell game for Mack.

Anything mentioned during the game about the new hire? I was kind of half listening. Any frontrunners for the job?

Swoopes sucked in 2a last year, just another recruit offered too early by Mack, closing your eyes and heaving a ball as far as you can is usually just lucky to be on target. did you see his moon ball later?

No missed that. I saw the long bomb that was dropped though as I said.

He's young. They can coach him up if he got any skills. And they get the right staff.

Well, any of the four coaches mentioned on the ESPN crawl as UT's favorites would be a vast improvement over Mack.

Back on thread, Texas Tech is putting it on #14 ASU right now, at least as I type this.

did anyone notice that the ASU player that recovered that punt fumble was trying to run in the wrong direction? I'm surprised Millen or the other guy didn't comment on it
