Not football related however...

WVU was thinking it was going to lose our AD, Oliver Luck, to Texas before an overnight change of heart on the part of Texas.

Now WVU has lost it's University President to Clemson.

That's actually a compliment to WVU. Clemson is a strong overall institution these days if you combine both athletics and academics....which the President must do.

Anyone going to Cowboys Stadium for the Baylor vs. Texas Tech game this Saturday? Also known as the BU-TT game, that's right, the BUTT game.

I'll be there if anyone wants to say hello.

Have a tourney I am coaching or I'd be at the Baylor-TT game.
Considering how Tech has played the last month and the roll Baylor is on it may be a blessing.

Miami lost just as I predicted further weakening FSU's SOS and SOS potential.
The mediots haven't caught on yet but FSU will fall out of the BCS CG if Bama and Baylor do not lose.

FSU looks like a good team but they've proven that versus exactly nobody and the spare ACC scheduleplus Florida being at a decade low is going to kill them.
An unranked ACC CG opponent would be the final nail in the coffin.
The good news for Seminoles is they have about zero risk of losing a game before a major bowl.
Bama and Baylor both face way tougher tests this final month.

RB Jonathan Gray (UT leading rusher) and Chris Whaley (Starting DT) are both out for the remainder of the season. Gray suffered an Achilles Tendon injury and Whaley a knee injury in last weeks WV game.

Both are huge blows to Texas. Gotta race what you got.

Florida State has already beaten two teams ranked in the top 7 at the time they beat them.

Even if Baylor runs the table, they will not have beaten a team ranked that high..let alone two of them....that is unless OSU somehow vaults into the top 7 before Nov 23.

But no doubt, Baylor's remaining schedule is much more daunting...though it could be argued that none of the teams they play are all that special...when you add them together, the cummulative effect becomes almost SEC-like.

OK State with that beatdown on Texas! They are in the driver's seat for the Big XII championship now with the easiest path. Mayfield is back for Texas Tech...we may have an upset brewing!

^Final 2 games are at home, including hosting Baylor. They're pretty tough to beat in Stillwater

has Mack brown quit yet? I mean if he's watching this Tech/Baylor game he should just quit already.

Leaving game now, phone dying. Awesome to see Baylor depth step up as 3,4,5 runningbacks filled in for hurt seastrunk and glasco Martin, good to see handle hostile adversity too after slow start.

Next week will determine fate of big 12 I believe, and Baylors chance at a national title run

Gratz on game Aikbach. Hope Baylor returns to suckitude here soon but I am backing them as a NCG contestant this year. Look like that'll happen for sure.

Huge loss for Texas. OSU just looked better then Texas and the QB spot was the obvious differential.

where a team is ranked at time of game only matters to fans. TCU was a preseason #12 and now they've own like 3 games.
what matters is where a team is ranked at the end of the year for SOS purposes.

FSU will get clubbed to death once the SOS component is factored at season's end.
Beating Duke or VaTech does little for them.
Playing Idaho kills them.

Good team but not set up currently to come out into NCG well unless Baylor or Bama lose.
Pollsters may prefer them over Baylor but it wont matter.
