Big failure by the GM

The QB play last night was nothing less than atrocious. How the team could be this far in to training camp with these backup QB’s and think that they could play is mind boggling. They’ve seen them every OTA, mini-camp and every day in training camp. Really disappointed they haven’t gotten a decent backup from day one so that he could get acclimated with the offense. They better get off their rear ends fast and bring someone in because if Dak goes down for a few games, we ain’t winning squat.

So who has a back up QB that could step in and play at a high level if the starter goes down?

Remember when you guys praised the front office for changing their philosophy and bringing in a real veteran backup last year? Totally ignoring the fluke circumstances of why that happened? Good times.

its a good thing we brought in that veteran back up last year..... I mean we were a serious threat still with Dalton as our back up. I couldnt imagine how bad our season would have been without Dalton winning games for us last year.

I don’t know about you but I’m ready to throw in the towel after what I saw last night. This team can’t compete and no matter how many garrettisms McCarthy throws out there.

Dude, it was a preseason game. Dak wasn’t there. Cooper wasn’t there. Lamb didn’t play. Jarwin didn’t play. DLaw didn’t play. Martin didn’t play. Gregory didn’t play. 90% of the starters DIDN’T PLAY. Come on man.

Hell if I know. I’m no GM or scout I.e. personnel expert. They’re out there and it’s for them to find one.

Quitters quit easily.

They should’ve brought in a QB back when FA began. Now they’ll have to make a trade or pick up someone after the last cuts. Hence the title of this thread.
That's OK, Dak the bus driver is indestructible, right?

A lot of this is moot. Commanders win the division and we battle the giants for 2nd place. Thank God the Eagles May be the worst team in the NFC

The biggest upside Is not being able to finish 8-8 anymore. Should be a good battle for 2nd though
Loser mentality….

I don’t expect amazing performances but the side arm technique, lack of size, and poor pocket presence…what is he good at? He’s just not got the traits you’d want a developmental QB.
I agree I’m no fan of him. I said he was a bum before we drafted him and he’s gonna be a bum after. But I still think he’s being judged too harshly….he’s a project.

Team isn’t crippled. Dak’s hit this year is only 21 million. Over 10 million less than last year. Chill.
What about the 42 mil hit in the coming years ? An injured QB who has no real accomplishments yet .

Chaps, the Dak cheerleaders here will only applaud him and congratulate him for taking care of his Injuries and his mental health. They don't care that Dak and Zeke, on the aggregate, take up ... what, 55% of the salary cap? That is irresponsible.
Blimey! Dak is no Rogers, LamarJ, Brady or the departed Brees. He's not even a Foles, for goodness sakes. Dak is more a Daniel Jones, but with less potential.
