Welp....:(

I'll go ahead and give the most obvious answer since this thread is only 5 pages long and no one has gotten it yet.....

There was no way I would have given Dez Bryant 70 million.

Franchise tag.....and then another tag...then cut bait.

We are just beginning to see what I suspect is gonna be a full blown T.O. type meltdown before all this is over. And yes....there are already signs....Skipping all of training camp.... The dropped passes vs Tampa..completely disappearing vs Carolina.....Monkey pictureso_O......sideline fights...tantrums. And it's just gonna get worse. A lot worse. It's a lot of distractions this team doesn't need.

Giving him the keys to the kingdom was a mistake. Jerry might as well hire 2 full time details to follow him this summer. 1 to clean up the messes he leaves behind...then another to steer him out of trouble. The guy has been practically broke since getting into the league...now he's got some money to throw around. Lord knows what gonna happen this summer.

I'll go ahead and call it what it is...It's the big C. And it's gonna grow.... And unfortunately....I have high doubts he has the maturity to see the situation for what it is.

Hopefully I'm wrong.....

It was referenced early in thread.
But this is 100% spot on.

And....

Michael Irvin didn't like that Dez was all smiles before Green Bay game.
There is no "eye of the tiger" with these guys.

It's more important to trade jerseys as respect for doing good job vs each other.

I've said this over and over again, but letting Bill Callahan walk.

Two big mistakes -- failing to draft a good RB and failing to get better backup QBs when the time was right.

Unfortunately, that merely scratches the surface. There are actually enough big mistakes to fill a notebook.

I am going with not making a deal happen for Adrian Peterson.

You?

Its not even close. Re-upping the hapless Clappy the Clown for 5 more years. Too bad this season couldnt have happened last year. We might have a real HC by now. Now we have to sit through another miserable 4 years of a Clappy the Clown run football team. And possibly more.

I'm going to "mildly" disagree with you on one point. Our QB play wasn't the reason we lost to Atlanta, New Orleans, or Philly. All three of those games were defensive collapses in which our QB played well enough to win. There was just no week-to-week consistency at the position.

But our backup quarterbacks didn't give us any advantage either. They couldn't sustain drives and could lead our offenses to the end zone.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I hated losing him as well, but he wanted to go. He had been screwed and backstabbed and basically forced to work out his contract.

Hard to regret something that would never have occurred anyway.

We lost because of defense, QB play, special teams, offense, poor execution, ect....ect.... We lost every way possible. When that happens, its quite obvious that they are poorly coached. A void of leadership or ability for the head coach to properly motivate or will his team to victory. And when you consider that we were winning or even in most of the losses and that we mostly got hammered in the 2nd half of games its quite obvious again what the problem is. A coach is incapable of adjusting, motivating, being creative, or analyzing enough to make the proper changes when the other coaches do.

And don't forget about the non holding call on our fourth down conversion. Suh got tackled but no call.

Let's not forget the blatant hold on Witten. Or the blatant pick play on Witten. That picked up flag wasn't for pass interference it was for fave guarding which isn't a penalty in the NFL. But sure. Keep saying we got lucky in that game because you are upset about our season. Lol. Wow. Gotta love this fan base

The fact that you have Garrett next to Landry and Jimmy Johnson is a disgrace to not only the "Cowboy way" but to both those coaches. Clappy the Clowns "Cowboy way" is an disgrace. In fact...........any fan that supports clappy the clown a this point is a disgrace to the rest of us.

This one is tough....

I'm gonna go with back up QB for sure though. If you get a real one then maybe we win a few of those games while Romo is out and there would have been no need to rush him back.

The biggest mistake was banking on the talent of the OL to make an average group of RBs productive. This put Romo back in a position of having to carry the team and it contributed to his injury and re injury. Instead of depending on the running game like we did last season we had to depend on the QB position. This resulted in losing Romo who was having to do too much and it's been keeping the defense on the field too long.

This !! and I will add not keeping murray. and trying to franchise dez and if they were gonna sign him do it early back in april.
Keep that knucklehead in line and on track.

I think when murray left , so did our SB chances, and not because he is a great rb, it was partly mental and dealt with chemistry and belief.

I'm not happy with losing first of all. I'm disgusted with how this team has played this season. Bringing up a game from last season. That we won and detracting from the win by agreeing we should have lost shows that you only see what you want to see. We won that game because we were the better team. To bring officiating into it is a joke. Officiating has been horrible for years. That won't change. And I had my signature made last year. And I had it made because I unlike a lot of people realize Garrett is here to stay. That will not change. So i have to support Garrett.

Hmm...not a peep about Duane Harris.

But I'd vote for loosing Callahan also.

If jerry threw enough money at him , I bet he stays. no limit on coaches, so they let him go, thinking they didnt need him.
Plus I think JH wanted him gone.

People say whats wrong with our OL, but they might not have liked letting murray go and callahan go, so now they dont really care,
and they may not like this new guy pollack, so they just do what he says and dont care about results.

No one has thought about what letting those 2 go, how that made other players feel or think.
Add to that some other good long term players that were let go like harris and carter, plus durant and moore.
Then they keep the big baby dez and give him more money than anyone except romo.

Then he does not even show up this year. That could affect a team mentally, and I think it is why
witten and lee recently said things about if your not motivated get off the team. they are referring to someone they cant name.

Why do you have to support him?" That is the most ridiculous thing I have every heard. Supporting ineptitude doesnt make you a good fan, it makes you a cheerleader. And your signature does more than support him. It implies that you think he is equal to the two greatest coaches in Cowboys history. And by saying that Garrett is the "the cowboy way" you are saying that ineptitude and poor coaching is the "Cowboy way".
