Why do you have to support him?" That is the most ridiculous thing I have every heard. Supporting ineptitude doesnt make you a good fan, it makes you a cheerleader. And your signature does more than support him. It implies that you think he is equal to the two greatest coaches in Cowboys history. And by saying that Garrett is the "the cowboy way" you are saying that ineptitude and poor coaching is the "Cowboy way".
Sadly it is now !

Well by not supporting him what changes? And again this signatire was made last season when we were a dominant football team. So what you are saying is we should cheer for the cowboys only when they win?

Dont confuse cheering with support.

We all chear for the Cowboys. But we dont applaud poor play or bad coaching. That makes little sense. And we certainly dont hope for those people to continue to be employed by the Cowboys. By your own words you would support and defend and all players or coaches simply because they wear the star. That sort of a mindless existence in my opinion. And then what good is your opinion then? How can you realistically analyze or enter a rational discussion about the Cowboys or its players if everything is rosy and hopeful?

And I will add one more thing...........If fans are hammering Garrett then Jones at some point will be forced to make a change. The best fan I have EVER seen was a guy down here in South Florida that spent his hard earned money renting a billboard by the stadium pleading for the firing of the head coach of the Bucs. Within 4 weeks of that sign going up he got fired.

THAT is a devoted fan. One hell of a fan.

I believe many things came together last year and that will be the closest the Cowboys will get to the SB under Garrett, with Romo.

Oh, mistakes are many - how about signing Greg Hardy. I'm glad he has only 5 weeks left on this team.

Backup QB. That's pretty much in a landslide.

After that, I'll go with not addressing the safety position very well.

I agree. You do realize we are talking about Jerry Jones right? We could go 8-8 next year and the year after and I'd promuse you Garrett will still be here. Thr guy is made out of Teflon. I really don't think we should be arguing amongst ourselves as fans over how bad of a coach Garrett has proven to be. Whatever we do Garrett will remain employed. It's that simple.

JG for 2 reasons:

1. He decided Randle was a starter in this league
2. His development or lack there of in Weeden.

Let that marinate a while.

Biggest Mistake backup QB and starting RB and thinking your WR2 can become a WR1

These 3 things were the big ones causing a collapse.

Next year 2016 NFL Draft:

In first 5 rounds need the following:

1) QB (future Tony Romo replacement).
May need to spend their 1st Rounder on this rather than waiting later take one of the top 3 in the Draft.

2) RB (future Demarco Murray replacement).
This needs to happen in the 2nd or 3rd round)

3) WR (speed, speed and more speed).
They need to add a vertical threat because this team is very slow and easy to cover at the Wideout spots)
They need someone that can become a #1 in case of a Dez injury and Terrance Williams is a #3 as well as Beasley)

Note: 3 important Offensive positions need filled next year or more doom awaits !!!

Note: Changes are needed in Coaching Staff especially Offensive Line.

Thinking 2014 meant we could just roll into 2015. Parity and you have to keep with the program. We changed the program and left someone who doesn't adapt to change well running the sidelines.

This is frustrating to me.

I didn't want to overpay demarco but I wanted to keep the team togetter to see if we could make that run to unfinished business.

Who knows? Maybe our last legitimate shot was last year and we blew it TWICE! (In Detroit(gift win) and Green Bay)!

I see nothing more than going back to 8-8 seasons with Jerry/Jason and Romo leading.

Right and the frustrating part is there was a way to do it. Pay DeMarco and Franchise Dez. I agreed that we didn't need to pay Murray big money and.. stats showed his age would be an issue...but he was a good leader and I think showing him some love would have helped the negotiations. I just think once that went down there was unnecessary turmoil and JG doesn't handle it well....among other things.

or sign Dez early and tag Murray to give it another shot. They lost chemistry and identity when DeMarco left. If this season failed under these conditions, then you let Murray walk all the while Dez is still here under contract.

They broke up what was working because the front office got cute.

Jerry brought back an oldie but goodie... "Any one of 500 coaches running backs could coach this team run behind this line"

I keep seeing comments like "the defense isn't rested enough," which is strange because we're leading the league in time of possession. We've also had fewer stuffs per carry, more first downs per carry, and more success on short yardage/goal line carries than last year. We just haven't been able to get those 2nd-level yards that came so easy last year when defenders were worried about the pass.

This season has been a clinic on how little the running game, ball control, and TOP means when you can't pass downfield effectively.

I think our TOP is skewed - we run the ball on 90% of 1st downs. Wouldn't that almost ensure that the clock keeps moving and run 35+ seconds off every time?
