It was injuries. Most want to blame coaching, as its the vogue thing to do on here. And yes it is part, but not the sole reason.cneed better player and depth too.
But losing your QB and WR. And troyng to replace your RB with a banged up OL to start the season does not help. Losing your best defensive player in Scandrick, suspensions, and other nagging injuries takes its toll
Blame all you want on who you want, if that is what you must do.
But a 12-4 team last year, and one cheated play from the NFCC game. To your leaders lost the next year will derail any team.
They do not have the right backup QBs for what ever reason, mostly those players themselves did not perform, and the team should have better been prepared, but a lot of that is hind sight from fans expectations.
Yes, other backups have won, but they also had a full healthy team with better depth.Injuries derailed us, period.
The Ravens lead the league with players on IR and suited up Blain freaking Gabbert at QB and beat the Steelers yesterday.
Teams do not lose every dam game because of injuries unless your coaches are beyond incompetent.
