The Dak haters/detractors are now going to hate Coach Parcells. That probably makes up about 90% of this board.
:muttley:
He says Moore needs to call more runs to take the ball out of Prescott's hands.

suggesting Dallas and Prescott would be better off taking the ball out of his hands more often and relying on the run game.

Do you think you'd ever hear Parcells say, "Reid needs to call more runs to get the ball out of Mahomes hands"

Or him say, "Cincy needs to run the ball more because they need to take the ball out of Burrow's hands".

I know you guys don't want to hear this but his analysis isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of Prescott here either. Seems Parcells is critical of a few things about this offense.

Typical Sydla, leaves out the portion where Parcells says this team can definitely reach and win a Super Bowl with Dak.

If they take the ball out of his hands and don't rely on him as much.

Again, you guys are running around acting like Dak is awesome and great and then point to this article as proof and yet Parcells is saying that the way to win is actually let Dak make less plays and put the game in the RBs/OLs hands.

That's a game manager more than a Top 10 QB. Which I think is what most people, like myself, have said. He's a decent QB that needs A LOT of help if he's going to make a SB run. Seems Parcells agrees with that.

Anyone remember Dak his rookie season? He sort of did good.
People should hold off on him a touch, he all but tried to turn it over the last couple weeks.
agreed.
he's a good QB we can win with.
they need to reign in the gunslinger and lean more on the run game.
he's still throwin' far more TDs than interceptions.
just stop throwin' it all over the lot and stop abandoning the run game so quickly.

I don't get it, when he can back the offense clicked and he didn't have to pass 40 times. Its like it evolved back to JG

i don't either.
i still think moore is the problem.
don't get me wrong...dak shares in this also.
he's 6yrs in and knows you don't throw into double coverage.
thats on him.
but the design of this offense...and the way kellen so easily abandons the run doesn't help this offense at all.
i hope there is a change at o.c.
i think its needed.

I was looking at the all 22 and it's kind of sad to see the whole field view when you can see all the WRs running a freaking curl route a yard short of a first down, or that put the WR closer to the coverage.
Completely inept in the play offs.

I agree with BP as usual. We threw it 556 times and ran it 531 last season. We need above 50% rushing and we need an OC with a better balance, scheme and feel for the game.
Dak should be treated like Cooper Rush and protected from himself. Beef up the interior OL and DL (D. Payne, J. Hargrave) this offseason. Cut Zeke and pair an insider runner with Pollard.
Ok but that doesn't tell the whole truth. Out of those 1087 plays how many times did Dak change the play at the line of scrimmage from a pass to a run or a run to a pass. So is it the OC out of balance or is Dak not reading the field properly during presnap and calling the wrong play or a combo of both. I'd be interested in that info.

Nobody really runs the ball with success in the playoffs. All dak had to do was not turn the ball over

The problem is that the defense this season was just as inconsistent as the offense. How do you know when to drive the bus and when to listen to Mike and stay aggressive. Going into the SF game, most of what we read on this site was that SF was going to chew us up again with the run game. They didn’t as the defense played probably their best game all season despite giving up a ridiculous big play for a FG at the end of the half and a 91 yard TD drive after we had tied the game in the second half.

Add a couple of pieces, and our D may be able to play that way all year. Add at least 1 playmaker to the offense and change the system to a less predictable and defensible one, and I think we can seriously challenge.

Keys for me are drop Zeke entirely, let Pollard walk if he gets a big offer, restructure Dak, do not resign Brown. Use that nice chunk of change to add some key pieces and draft a new RB.

Nope. We all agree with BP, take the ball out of Prescott's hands as much as possible.
These Dak groupies just like their hero are slow at processing. Parcells says have your alleged “best” player do less and these groupies are like yeah go argue with BP like BP gave this guy some ringing endorsement smh. That appeal to authority is a mother bleeper

Nice to see some validation from Parcells. Been saying km is a problem and was met with #1 offense rhetoric.
