Actually, the defense gave up 22 and scored 7, a difference of 15. That's all we needed from our offense...to give us a +15 day.

And don't you worry, there was plenty of blame to go around after that game. We don't blame only Bledsoe. The thing is the order in which things fell apart...

Although we should've been beating up on Pittsburgh, the truth is that our D did score a touchdown for us that game that gave us a 17-16 lead in the 3rd quarter. Later that quarter we had a chance to extend the lead to 20-16 but Lindell missed a chipshot field goal. The Steelers turned around and got a field goal of their own, taking the lead (a lead they shouldn't have had to begin with). It was on our next offensive series that Bledsoe put the nail in our coffin. On 3rd and 6 he got sacked and fumbled. It was picked up by the D and they took it for a touchdown. Bledsoe would fumble again on the next drive but Shaud Williams recovered it. It wasn't until our last, meangless offensive drive that we managed to score again.


First off, our team will be competitive throughout the year based on great D and special teams alone. But even if we struggle this year, nobody will be really down on Losman because he's a young quarterback and we all accept that he needs time. This isn't some old, washed up veteran that we brought in hoping that he can revitalize his career. We know the chance we're taking with JP, and we all still feel it's worth it.

Even though my parents were from this area I was born in Wichita Falls, TX. So I'm a "Texan" at heart.

You do realize the Bills were 3-13 before Drew. And he threw for 4450 yars his first year for you and brought Buffalo back.

Yes, when we got Drew we were desperate for an upgrade at QB. Our 'experiment' with Rob Johnson was over and it was time to go out and get ourselves the best veteran QB we could find. It just so happened that our two top options were Drew or Jeff Blake. Obviously Drew was the best choice that offseason.

Drew came in and helped revitalize our O, enough to get us to 8-8...but you'll notice if you go back and look at that season that he really faded down the stretch. After our week 10 bye week Drew's stats were:

24-36 for 225, 1 td 1 int
21-33 for 181, 0 td 2 int 1 fumble
32-51 for 328, 2 td 4 int
11-33 for 107, 0 td 0 int 1 fumble
18-36 for 179, 0 td 2 int 4 fumbles
23-31 for 231, 1 td 0 int 1 fumble

That's how he ended his GOOD year with us. People like to think he was amazing all year long and the truth is he wasn't. After our bye week he completely collapsed and was never the same for the rest of his tenure in Buffalo.

It's kinda sad that Bill Parcells coaching career will probably end after this season or next and he has to ride it out with Bledsoe.

It's kinda sad that Bill Parcells coaching career will probably end after this season or next and he has to ride it out with Bledsoe.

This board will be a zoo after week 2. After a certain Monday night game in Dallas. It won't be pretty.

I am happy he's gone but at the same time he's a class act and I wish him the best. If anyone can revitalize him it's Parcells but I am taking a 'believe it when I see it' approach, because Drew seems so snakebitten (or perhaps obsolete?) that it's hard to imagine that even the best coach could 'fix' him.

If your implying we'll be 2-0 then yes I already knew that, washington is a joke and will be lucky to win a division game this year, let alone have a chance to beat us.
