Just ignore the fact that the offense he put together is at the bottom of the league in nearly every measurable team offensive statistic. What matters is what he did in 93 with one of the best rosters ever assembled.

I'd blame A.J Smith for that, what with letting V-Jax walk and replacing him with Eddie Royal, reaching for Ryan Matthews, and letting the OL go to ****.

This thread has degenerated into a Norv Turner discussion? Really?

Let's get back to bashing our own coaches, please?

I've always believed that he underperformed here in the early 90's given the talent we had at the time. If ever a team was built to win 15-16 games a year, that was it. They never won more than 13 games per year back then.

And norv is still getting paychecks in this league because of it. I want no part of him back in Dallas.

No, thanks. I don't care enough about your opinions on the topic one way or another.

I was being courteous initially, in making it clear that I don't have the time to explode silliness while the rest of the board is throwing a tantrum.

When your QB steps up to the podium and claims a team that they should know inside out by now, did things on def. that they have never seen, and they had no answer to, heads should roll. Complete incompetence.

He's also has San Diego's offense at the top of the NFL on numerous occasions. They've lost a lot of talent recently and River's true self has emerged. Turner has done a lot of good thing offensively in San Diego. Have enough sense to look past this year.

Reminds me of what he said after the 44-6'ing.

Garret is just a bad play designer, and caller. It's been brought up many times before, but all his pass plays are outside the numbers or up the field outside the numbers. Defensive coordinators, figured this out and blitz the heck out of Romo, who is playing behind a horrible OL. He is late to make adjustments, and refuses to run pass patterns in the middle of the field until its time to make a comeback.

He gets out coached every week with his stupid game planning. If Garrett had a clue, he would have attacked early in this game with quick crossing patterns to the wideouts, putting Dez and Miles in motion. Instead he makes Dez bang heads with Hall all game, making him beat Hall every single play to get to the stupid patterns outside the numbers. While this is happening, Romo is getting instant pressure from the blitz.

SMH!

same old garrett crap

Really is..

Back to back 8-8 seasons and get eliminated in the last game.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm dreaming when I see people defend the guy.

He is a terrible game day coach.

Therefore, Jerry should reconfirm his commitment to Garrett any minute now.....

Garrett should have let Bailey kick the 52 yard FG before the half IMO. Had no problem letting Bailey kick the 48 yarder later in the game. If he makes it, we kickoff and take another 10-15 seconds off the clock leaving about 30 seconds left in the first half. If Bailey misses, there's what 45 seconds left with the ball at the Cowboys 42?

I'd take that chance with Bailey.

Commanders blitzed two linebackers ALL GAME LONG.

Seriously, how long does it take to figure this out.

I don't care what the Garrett defenders say, he is a BAD OC.

The worst part is that Jerry won't fire Garrett, and he won't hire an OC either, so we have to endure this again next year.

Garrett is the most unqualified HC I've ever seen. He's worse than Zorn. At least Zorn had a rudimentary understanding of the West Coast offense.

We have an offensive coordinator, the problem is that he is a gelding and Garretts crony.

Or he could have called a played to pick-up four yards. He had the same situation in the second half and played it like he needed 30 yards.

Not only do we have to watch another week 16 debacle, but we have to spend all offseason knowing this clown is still our HC/OC.

We were seriously outcoached today.

I think as a fan you would like to go into every game thinking our HC has the guys ready to play..you throw this at us & we'll do this..

Jason just seems clueless.

Same ole. Same ole.
